"They crowned the wrong tooth. My jaw and bite was off for months. They owed us money back that our insurance paid. I only found out because our insurance sent me a letter months later. Now I get a bill in the mail saying I owe them money though we have not been seen there in 7 to 8 months! They also recommended night guards and I told them I already had night guard retainers. My kids also went. They all are great at the dentist. Not this time they all left crying in pain from a cleaning."

"This was the worst experience my family has ever had with a dentist. I went in five times for a botched crown. I was in excruciating pain each time with tears streaming down my cheeks. Each time the lab was blamed. I don’t buy it!! Even after five time my “porcelain” crown is almost entirely black?!! If it is the lab, wouldn’t a reasonable person get a different lab?? I don’t buy it. Take my advice, run from this dentist."

"I’d give a zero if that was an option. Being new to the Pensacola area ( I recently moved from Tampa), I called for an appointment for a broken front tooth. I was seen by this dentist, who told me that I needed a “crown” on my broken tooth. Considering the outrageous price I was given, I explained that I could not afford that crown right now. I asked her to place something temporary, so that I didn’t have to walk around with half of my front tooth gone. She refused to do it and just walked out of the room leaving me talking to myself, and worse yet, letting me leave her office with my tooth still broken in half( a dentist?????) As a retired Oncology Registered Nurse and mother of a well regarded physician, I know the importance of spending an extra minute or two talking to your patients. Or at least being cordial if a patient does not have the means to do a treatment right away. She charged me $125 dollars after staying in the room no more than 3 minutes. I was told that my insurance did not cover any part of the visit, only to have the same insurance covering my visit to a different dentist the very next day, when my tooth was fixed by a very professional dentist. This “ smile by design dentist” made me go home with my FRONT TOOTH broken because I could not afford the crown. She refused to do anything temporary. I left the office in total disbelief. In my 61 years of age I have never been treated with so much disregard by any person, specially not in the medical field. I should have had my alerts on when I walked into het office and realized that this dentist also offers facial rejuvenation treatments. Evidently this office it is nothing but a money making factory."

"This is the best dental practice I have ever been to! I went with my 2 year old. While I was getting my X-rays done, someone watched her! They had toys and TV for her while I got my teeth cleaned. When it was her turn, she wanted her teeth polished twice, she liked it so much!!!! They were patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I have already recommended them to two of my friends!"
