"Good morning Consumer World! I have to say this is the best probate law firm in town! My mom passed away last year and I was basically forced to sell her home due to a reverse mortgage not being reasonable. This was such a quick fix but a stressful time for me. The home is in Apalachicola Florida, a smaller town with limited resources and "busy" attorneys. It felt as though no one could take my case. We were in crunch time with only a few weeks from foreclosure proceedings so my deadline was July 9-13th. I made a call to an attorney and he was retired but referred me to St. George Island. I spoke to a gentleman that stated he didn't do probates but referred me to Stephanie Galloway at Manausa, Shaw, & Minacci in Tallahassee stating it was their sister company. I was losing hope and gave her a call. Our phone call was quick, productive, and efficient. She sounded confident we could do this in the time frame we needed but of course couldn't make any promises. Literally, we scraped up the money needed, overnighted it her, signed all documents, and she had it to the judge in a week! I was so impressed, I couldn't believe it! Next thing you know the judge signed off in 1 day and house is updated in me and my brother's name. I was almost in tears it was a bitter-sweet time but God put her in my path to get everything taken care of. Foreclosure was for July 13th, we closed the house of July 11th. Now tell me if that's not top-notch service there! I apologize for the long review but this was something that needed to be said. After we closed on the home, it seemed like everybody wanted their contact information from attorneys, title companies, and my realtor so hopefully we got you more business! LOL Don't take my word for it, if you ever need legal guidance, go to Manusa, Shaw, & Minacci, PA. Thank you again Stephanie!"

"About five months after closing, I am getting correspondence from HUD saying a debt is owed on the same property. Manausa did not do their due diligence. I contacted Manausa and was relayed to Kyle Shaw to discuss the HUD situation. Kyle Shaw of Manausa communicated to me he would work to resolve the matter; two months later communication from him became almost nonexistent. The HUD is placing a lien on the home that is now owned by someone other than me. Manausa has not resolve this situation as of this day. The closing included title search and title insurance. This situation should have been resolved by use of title insurance or Manausa paying for their mistake. A lot of money was paid during this closing to make sure there was proper change of ownership. Now they are trying to push a regular working family to come up with thousands of dollars to resolve an overlooked problem on their part. I received an email from Kyle Shaw saying they assumed some things concerning my mortgage pay off. That is not very professional if you are getting paid to do correct legal and accountable work. I waited a while before posting this because I thought Manausa was a trustworthy company to do things properly. Now I see I was wrong. I suggest you get another title company to do your closing...You live and you learn. Beware!!! when closing with this company if you buy a home you may not totally own the home."
