"Prices are not negotiable. Fine. But these consignment stores should have a system allowing the price to drop regularly by a certain percentage, after a certain period of time. For instance, the price tag would read 10% lower, after each week the item sits in the store. This would allow the store to start high, but if the item does not sell, the price would eventually drop until it sells, preventing an overpriced item from sitting there forever. I have seen other consignment stores using that method which works like a charm!"

"I sent over pictures of pictures I was trying to consign, text and email. After 3 weeks I called them and told them I hadn't heard anything, the gentleman who answered the phone checked and said we'll pass you should have gotten a message and hung up. That's fine they passed but I think he could have had better customer services skills, he was just plain rude! Won't be going there anytime soon!"

"This is my favorite "multi-store Consignmet Shop. I've enjoyed visiting several of their Palm Beach Shops over the years as both a Buyer and Consignment Seller. Trust me it's more rewarding to be a buyer. "Someone's trash could be your treasure! It's the thrill of the hunt that excites me most!"

"I have been a True Treasures shopper for many years, until recently, mostly for accessories. Recently I did a home remodel and redecorating. As such, I have been shopping like crazy for furniture and accessories to fit the new decor. I have been working with Don, a recently hired True Treasures decorator at the Northlake store and I have to say that my experience has been like having a personal shopper/decorator! We have discussed my home, looked through photos and he has sourced items for me as they arrive!! This service is above and beyond what one would expect at a consignment store and I must say, a brilliant business model… I would hope to see it marketed in this manner in the future and will do my part to spread the word!! "Just left after brusque shakeoff by saleswoman. Looked at a pair of lamps marked down to $350 six days ago. There were signs all over offering 20% off ALL LAMPS. We mentioned this and she said “that was yesterday” and walked away. There were at least SIX signs they failed to take down after this Small Business Saturday promotion. We asked another (much nicer) saleswoman. She repeated the statement about the promotion and that their boss would “kill them” if they honored it. Really!? The signs are all over and you won’t honor your mistake? You are a consignment shop and can’t find any way to move on the price? You’d rather lose a sale for you and the consignee? Good luck there. You know there are plenty of other small businesses that sell lamps, no?"
