"I too was subject to a fraudulent loan that was approved by U Own Leasing with no credit pull. When the perp didn't pay, they did report the delinquent loan to credit agencies. Their fraud department is doing an investigation, but it's really apparent that this not the way to do business and they should correct the approval process and my credit report now."

"This company operates as UOwn and fraudulently approved a purchase from Tire Agent with someone using my information. They do not do a hard credit pull so you do not find out about it until there are six months of no payment and they finally ding your credit report. Additionally they approved this person that did not have an address, phone number or email address that was ever associated with me. The address used was in a different State I have never lived in. Furthermore the shipment did not have to be verified by identification so the merchandise went to whomever with ease. They emailed the contract that the fraudsters signed up for and I read the terms and it's worse than loan shark rates. Over 100% APR to finance tires since it's not a loan but rather a lease. Literally find money anywhere else then places like this. If you approve people with no money down and no hard credit pull you are just asking to be fraudulently taken advantage of and this affects real people for their lack of due diligence. I guess they play the odds with over 100% financing rates they must plan for a few bad agreements with that kind of criminal finance rates."

"They lie about when they will take the money out, they take it out whenver they wanta nd multiple times at that. Then I pay off the whole account and they close my login and dare show on my credit report that I still owe them money, if you don't pay off the whole product in a few months you end up with a $300 item costing you $2000"

"Got a call from the rep. He demanded 20 apps per month or they would shut us off. We only had 10 customers that wanted finance for the month he called about. Can't force customers to do a lease. He said he would turn our account off, which he did. Will never do business with a company that forces you to do business with them. Told other furniture stores that I had recommended to give Uown a try to not complete the application. Shady business practices."

"Someone stole my identity and used it to purchase $4000 worth of furniture in my name through MNGH. MNGH discovered the account was past due in October 2018 but didn’t successfully make contact with me until June of 2019. So less than a month after MNGH calls me and tells me about the debt and I tell them about the identity theft they report me to the credit bureau and my score drops 150 points because I didn’t file the police report on time. I spoke to the manager on the phone and asked him why they would ruin my credit score so quickly when they waited so long to contact me. He gave no answer and simply became defensive and repeated over and over “you didn’t file a police report”. I asked him why it was fair they took 8 months to locate and contact me (there’s only one person with my name in the entire country so I’m easily found on google) and yet would only give me one month to file a police report. He refused to answer or take responsibility for sloppy lending and collection practices."
