"Literally wish I could give this place zero stars. I chose this pharmacy because it was a local business and I wanted to support them, clearly a big mistake. My first time going was on a Friday to pick up a prescription for medication to help insomnia, my prescription was written by an Advent Health Heathbrook doctor, which they have pamphlets for ironically on their table for distribution. After it was ineffective, my SAME doctor sent a new prescription to Ocala Pharmacy on Monday since obviously insomnia is something that a doctor would like to quickly address. From the second I came in the busted, unpleasant pharmacy tech is combative and clearly has few pleasures in life other than giving people a hard time. She then loudly tells the pharmacist " can you talk to him because he clearly doesn't want to hear it from me" after providing no true reason as to why they could not fill the prescription. Then the pharmacist who is just as unprofessional as the other woman, tells me that he doesn't feel comfortable unless it has been at least 3 days. Friday dosage, Saturday Dosage, Sunday dosage... that is 3 days you incompetent fool. Won't even call the doctor to confirm or raise whatever bogus concerns he has. Clearly treated me this way since I am 30 and not 80 like the rest of his clientele. Do NOT support a business that puts their egos above the health AS PRESCRIBED by the doctor. Also, don't hire unfortunate, nasty techs who don't have basic communication skills or let their biases impact their decision making. Off to Walgreens!"
