Publix Super Market at Old St. Augustine Plaza

"The reason I shop at Publix is for the great customer service, but when I visited Publix at 6 pm on 12/11/23, customer service was severely lacking. Usually when I go into Publix and I'm looking for an item, I'm confident the first Publix employee I see will provide reliable assistance, but not this evening. I was looking for bone broth and I asked the first employee I saw, a Meat Department employee stocking the meat shelves. I asked him if he could help and he said, "I don't have any idea where to find that". It would have been great if he could have said something like, let me find someone to help you, but he didn't. So I walked to the front of the store and asked a cashier who wasn't helping a customer, but she didn't know where I could find the bone broth either, so I walked to Customer Service and this employee told me the bone broth was in aisle 2, but it was not, I ended up finding the item in aisle 5. This was a very frustrating and time consuming trip to Publix. I fondly remember the days when I could rely on Publix employees to be friendly (the Meat Department employee was not) and helpful."

"Chicken tenders are like my favorite food ever. The deli always has chicken tenders ready and their polite about it, and then the people at the register know that I get a free dipping sauce with a pound of tenders and I don't have to ask them to do it. That's where shopping is a pleasure, where I don't have to talk to people about the stuff that they should know how to do. So I really like this Publix. And if I haven't mentioned it all already I really like chicken tenders. I think they're really made out of unicorn meat but I won't tell anybody because liberals would probably be mad. Thanks Publix."

"What's not to love? It's always a pleasure shopping at Publix! This location has a nice tree canopied parking lot, is clean, has a nice variety of choices, good produce, easy to navigate, and friendly service. The layout is different of most Publix's I've shopped at."

"Always good at this store. Love me some Publix. The chicken is the bomb and the store is always clean and employees helpful. Publix costs a little more than some other no frills stores, but you get what you pay for. It's the same food but a different experience."
