"I went early at 5:30 am and contemplated the sunrise on a Cayak ride. I loved it and fell in love with this place."
"I visited Pineland Monument Park on a sunny afternoon and I was amazed by the beauty and history of this place. The park is small but well-maintained, with a few parking spaces and a pier (close now ) that extends over the water. The view of the sunset from the pier was breathtaking, and I could see the island of Cayo Costa in the distance. The park also has a plaque that tells the story of the Calusa Indians, who used this site as a temple ground. I learned a lot about their culture and heritage from reading the plaque. The park is free to enter and there is no fee for fishing from shore, but you need a saltwater fishing license. There are no other amenities like bathrooms or lighting, so plan accordingly. I recommend this park to anyone who loves nature, history, and tranquility."
"Beautiful little area. Small parking area, no crowd. Pretty mangrove and the fish were jumping regularly. Gorgeous sunset. Not a big space, no amenities, just the monument plaque and the small area. Still, it was really pretty. Kayak launches here as well. There is a pier but it's marked as private property."
"Weird place. Parking for 3, maybe 4 little vehicles. Water is 20' from the parking spaces. Walk to the show and you are presented with a huge expanse of shallow, glimmering water. Kayak heaven! Secluded so you won't be bothered by 100 other kayakers. Bring bug spray! I'll be back many times in the future. Great little spot."
"Great sun set. Only enough parking for 4 cars. Nice small kayak launch between the bushes. Small pier for fishing."
