Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa

"We have stayed at this resort several times. Its had its struggles but has been completing new improvements recently. However checking in today we received no information that the restaurant would have a very limited menu with no take out. I wish id copied the menu it was absolutely absurd obviously very poor execution and planning was involved and as of 630 they were sold out. The menu was an all or nothing for 65 dollars when only 2 average sized eaters involved that creates waste of food. If there had been some type of notification at check in we would have planned to eat off property but instead going to bed with out dinner. Management needs a women details are important truly disappointed here til Wednesday if anyone would like my suggestions lol."

"Stay at the lodge.The room needs some major updates. Staff where professional and courteous. Miss Laurie at the spa went above and beyond. The grounds absolutely beautiful. Wouldn't recommend staying at the lodge until some update are done."

"This trip was my third to the Hammock. We decided to rent a home to accommodate our large family. Booking process was fantastic. We had the best of both worlds staying at a private home (Blue Moon) and getting full access to the resort. My husband and son enjoyed a round at the ocean course and decided to plan his annual guys golf trip at this property in the fall. However, we had some safety issues at the home. My son actually was injured going down the property stairs to the beach. My husband also fell, and myself and our other teens seriously struggled climbing up and maneuvering down the stairs. We contacted the resort, were told they would send someone to fix the stairs but that never happened. I reached out again and still nothing. Then we send the checking out text and maybe 30min later we receive a call asking if we could come by and fill out an incident report and speak to their team. We were given a number to call. (The number that called and left us that message) No answer, mailbox was full. We called twice. Emailed numerous times with pictures of the damage while we were at the location then sent them again after leaving per requests of their team. Gave my husbands number for them to contact because I was emotionally over the matter. Still nothing. The home was not up to code. Never should have been rented. I don’t think anyone went out there to even check. I reached out because my son was hurt and I was concerned for the safety of others. So disappointed in how things were handled. This was a very expensive trip that we were excited to gift to our kids for Christmas and the injury of my son and lack of care from the resort team just blew me away. So disappointed. Lol the kids did make their own stairs to the beach. They were much safer."

"Amazing, wonderful, beautiful, clean. Very accommodating, excellent and beautiful pools, breathtaking beach. Everything you could want in a resort. We live in another state and left an item behind, and the staff found it and mailed it to us at no cost! Please note though, there is a toll bridge nearby that you may have to cross to get to different places off the resort. Of you GPS it right, you can avoid the toll."

"They said our room was going to have an ocean view and they weren't kinding!! The sound and smell of the ocean were intoxicating. We sat on the balcony drinking our coffee and just watched the waves roll in. The pools were great, dinners were delightful. Pricey but what do you expect at a five star resort."
