"I have it a 2 because usually they're really nice but I got there about 11:58pm and pulled up to gas pump, I use my GasBuddy gas card at the pump. When the pump was about $6 suddenly all lights go out at pump and store only all other lights work. I guess they close at midnight and even if there was a customer in the middle of pumping gas they still shut it all down.About 5 mins later the cashier or whoever walks out so I ask him why did he shut my pump off did he even realize I was pumping gas. He said yes he did and it was late got in his car and left. This all happened when we are expecting a category 3 hurricane tomorrow and he would have known this. I get the fact I'm the one that started pumping gas knowing they close any second but c'mon turning off the pump like that!!! Not very good customer service. I couldn't even get a receipt for my gas. Very Disappointed... what the hell is the world coming to that you can't let a paying customer finish pumping gas.smh"
"I had to go to Rainbow tonight because they were the only place open in this hurricane (thank God). Shawn waited on us and he was super friendly and patient, because as you can imagine they were SUPER busy because everyone else was closed. They had a good variety of storm snacks and what stood out to me was they weren’t taking advantage of this and charging outrageous prices on items, they were all the normal prices you would expect from a convenience store. Well worth the ride from Clearwater. Thanks again Shawn"
"On April 1st, 2022, around 920am, I went into this store to buy $40 worth of gas and 2 packs of Newport cigarettes. The man working the register and the woman working the deli who were working at the time intentionally tried to steal from me. I used my wife's cash app card to pay the total of 57.87. There was a total of $60 on the cash app card. I saw the card machine say APPROVED, but he said to put my card in again cause I pulled it out to soon. I figured nobody in their right mind would attempt something this bold so I put the card back in and he said I only had $2.13 on the card. The same amount I'd have left if the $57.87 went through. He asked me how I want to pay the remaining $55.74. I had a brief argument with him that it's impossible that there was only $2.13 on the card because we just checked my wife's statement before I went in the store. I told him I'll pay, this time with my debit card, and if I find out he's lying I'm going to call the authorities. So I paid the remaining balance from the $2.13. I went back to my vehicle where my wife was pumping gas. I told her to look at her cash app statement and sure enough, 2 transactions were made: one for $57.87 and 2 mins later for $2.13. I than checked MY online banking statement and a transaction of $55.74 was just made. He just double charged me, like I knew he did. I went back in the store and the cashier along with the woman at the deli, this time, commenced to argue with me. I don't remember what their excuse was but they were 100% sure they were right even after I showed them proof with my wife's cash app statement and my online banking statement After I said I was calling the police the cashier immediately told me to come back around 130, 200 to talk to the manager. When I came back later that day, the manager apologized profusely and told me the money will take a few days to be refunded back to my wife's cash app acct. I honestly don't think the manager was involved but the cple people in the store that morning both said it was obvious the cashier knew exactly what he was doing. The money was refunded and I kinda brushed it off but I was just thinking, How many people have they gotten over on? How many naive people or senior citizens that aren't familiar with electronic payments lost money at such a crucial time in our economy? Everyone, please keep your guard up, not only with Rainbow Mart, but anywhere."
"Since COVID-19 I have been a regular. At my request these guys have did their absolute best to have the shelves stocked with my canned peanuts and Lay's potato chips EVERY WEEK. The workers are pleasant to customers. It's nice to walk in a place where they know your name....yes Shawn this is Ms. Lays :D"
"One of my favorite things about a small suburban neighborhood is having a reliable convenience store or gas station to walk to. Being able to pick something up easy be it a snack, beer, etc. RM is clean and the setup is simple making it easy to get what I need. My guy Shawn, behind the counter provides exceptional guest service by taking care to remember all the faces that come through that door and being extremely pleasant each and every time."
