Ecopassage Observation Boardwalk Micanopy, FL 32667

"2023-12-21: I visited this boardwalk again six days after my last visit (see review below). The water level was a little higher and I didn't see as many birds in the shallows today. This is a nice place for a beautiful view of the sunrise. 2023-12-15: This is a very short boardwalk, but there is a lot of wildlife to be seen. Among the variety of wildlife I saw included Ospreys, female Snail Kites, Wood Storks, Grebes, Snowy Egrets, Great Egrets, American Alligators, Cormorants, and Anhingas. One of the other photographers there said there have been sightings of a Peregrine Falcon. This really is a nice boardwalk. Too bad there isn't better parking. There is also a bit of noise from US hwy 441."

"Sunset time & late nights are the best times to visit this place. Sunset is colourful and late nights star gazing is awesome !! Worth a visit and it's always free to go with no crowd. One of the good places to visit gators in Gainesville!!!"
