Tom Thumb

"For whatever reason, this is listed as a Tom Thumb. This is, in fact, NOT a Tom Thumb, but a Cumberland Farms gas station, and has been that way for awhile. Outdated promotion aside, this is a really nice store. Granted, I didn't go to pump gas or air up my tires like other, more negative reviewers have, so I can't say anything on the service. I went inside the convenience store, grabbed a drink and a pack of gum, used the relatively clean restroom, and went on my way. The cashier/clerk/registerwoman (please don't take that as derogatory) was a pleasant person, and she was really amicable, bouncing off conversations with a playful and jovial personality that made the store feel lively. She was also just super nice and didn't make me feel like I was being vented on by an underpaid, overworked Walmart employee (kudos to Cumberland for maintaining employee morale). A big plus, too, is that, sometimes, they have an ongoing promotion where fountain drinks are completely free, regardless of size. It was going on during the Christmas time, and apparently, it's going on during this entire month, too, which is really cool. But yeah, nice place."

"My car battery died at a pump after getting gas. I believe their names were Curtis, Kyle, and Donovan but I'm not sure, all helped me get back up and running. It all took about an hour, but they, along with several kind bystanders with jumper cables and ratchet sets, made sure I was all settled and safe before I drove off. Glowing review, I'm incredibly grateful for all of them."

"Horrible staff. They rob you if you want air for tires. The machine eats your money and they refuse to reimburse you. Their response, “don’t know nothin bout it. It don’t belong to us.”. First time I went in, I had to wait for someone to come from the back room. I waited so long I finally left. GO TO WALMART. CHEAPER GAS, air works, FRIENDLIER STAFF. RIGHT NEXT DOOR. this is a reflection on management as well as ignorant staff."

"Selection great. The issue was with the clerk Britney, me and my friend were purchasing alcohol, she asked us for both our ids, we both handed them to her , we were talking about who's paying while she scanned and she rudely snapped at us asking, who's buying the drinks? We look at each other and at her- We respond we're both over 30 and our ids are valid in your hand. Felt very odd and confusing. She might be having a bad day but when you work in customer service attitude is everything. It was obvious we are of legal age, her sour tone was not necessary. Thumbs down girl"

"You definitely want to avoid this store if you expect prpmpt amd friendly service. Today I went inside go make a purchase and the cashier at the register neither greeted me nor did she smile. Actually, even though I said hello and asked how she was, she never uttered a word.. She just held out the scanner to scan my reward card and didn't even bother to tell me my total. At a previous visit this same cashier was very put out when I asked her to check for milk on the back cooler since they had none stocked in the refrigerates section. I'll go elsewhere in the future."
