"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Our pool contractor Rob Liberator (do not use him either) with Serenity Pools in Winter Haven used Swimming Pool Interiors by Albert Bass for our pool finish (on 9/8/2020). Swimming Pool Interiors by Albert Bass and Rob Liberator have admitted that the pool was not properly acid washed from the beginning and the color of our pool is not the color it should be. I have confirmed this with two other licensed pool contractors. We thought there was a dark blue spot on the second step of our pool. Come to find out, that dark blue spot is the actual color our pool should be, not the muted/light blue that it is. Please also see my review on Rob Liberator with Serenity Pools- he has been a nightmare. Apparently Rob and his subcontractors are all the same- they do a terrible job, do not communicate with the homeowner and they just abandon the job. After months of begging for these services to be complete, I was forced to hire an attorney. Rob has chosen to abandon the job. I am left with closing the permits and finishing up the construction of our pool. 1) do not use Rob Liberator 2) do not allow your pool contractor to use Swimming Pool Interiors by Albert Bass for you pool finish. Edit on 1/15/2021 in response to the company's post: This further proves that Swimming Pool Interiors by Albert Bass LLC and Rob Liberator with Serenity Pools do not tell the truth. The employee in photo #7 (in the red shirt) said that the pool was not properly acid washed during the install process due to fault by Albert Bass. Additionally, Rob communicated on 12/31 (through our attorneys) that he spoke to Albert Bass and Albert Bass agreed to pay $500 to correct this problem. I asked Rob to provide proof of this, of course he never responded again. As communicated through our attorneys, I am HAPPY to pay the remaining $5,496.37 to Rob upon the job being completed. However, I can not pay Rob to abandon our pool and leave me with seven items left to correct (hire another company to fix/complete). If Rob wants to finish this job, I am happy to pay him the amount above. However, Rob has communicated through his attorney that he will not be returning to our job site. I offered to give Rob the balance (if there is a balance) after I have hired other companies to fix these items. I have tried with diligent effort to reach a solution with Rob, however, Rob's attorney said Rob will not be returning to our job site. 1/24/2021: I encourage Albert Bass to reach out directly to Rob Liberator with Serenity Pools and Keith Johnson (Pool Works) as they both have stated that this is due to incorrect application, and not scale. In fact, Keith has offered to pay Albert Bass $500 up front to pay for the "scale removal" as he is confident it will prove to Albert Bass is not a scale issue. At this point, Rob owes me money to fix all the shoddy work he and his subcontractors have performed. I have made every attempt to reach a settlement agreement that is more than fair. However, Rob has stated (through his attorney) he will not be returning to our job site. Therefor, I can not pay Rob to not complete the job + pay other contractors to now come in and finish/repair the work. I have provided pictures, dates/time, screen shots, etc to prove my case. Albert Bass makes false accusations without any proof. If Rob hasn't paid you, then you need to take that up with Rob. Keith has quoted me $7,290 (+ cost of accent tile) to re-finish the pool to get the color it is intended to be. Keep in mind, I paid a $1,400 upgrade for this finish!"

"I have been doing business with SPI for a couple years now. They stand by their work, use good quality products, and normally have no problem getting the job started too finished in record time. All my customers love there interior finish, I highly recommend. Seems like people are fast to write a bad review but not a good one. Photos speak for themself."

"If your pool company is going to use this company do yourself a favor and refuse. Ask to use another company. They did horrible work, no customer service. Blew my back outlet due to the 25 foot extension cord they were using and old grinder pulling to many amps. I had to pay $250 for electrician to fix. Bottom of pool very uneven and light circles in the daylight. They said they would get back to me on the issues, never heard from them."
