"My first time visiting a spring. This was a great experience. It was well maintained and you get to swim in the spring. The water was crystal clear and vibrant with sunlight. There was a trail along the creek, but I couldn't check that one out. We did see the caution board saying alligators might be in the middle of the trail and watch out for it to stay safe. But overall just talking about the spring it was a great experience and a well maintained park."
"This is the one of the most serene states pearls we have been to. It is close to Panama City Beach and other 30 A destinations. If you are looking for a change of scenery from the beautiful beaches of the panhandle, we recommend curving out this state park. It is only forty minutes from Panama City Beach and the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Bring a picnic lunch, there are plenty of pavilions and picnic tables. The water is a crisp 68-degree year round but makes for a beautiful chill off spot on a nice hot day in Florida. There is also some cool nature trails for those who like to hike. plan a day at ponce de Leon state park and you will not be sorry you did. we will visit her every time we go to the panhandle. Tip: go early on a week day of you have the chance especially during peak season! it can get very packed and you may be turned away of there are too many people that day."
"Small park with a small swimming area. Looks like tubing is possible when water is higher. Small trails were nice to walk. Couple small fish in the swimming area. Small rivers along walking trails."
"My son and I came to check out this place for the first time last week. We had a great time! Excellent state park facilities, sandy bottom creek for wading, and diving ledge over the main spring. Definitely come and cool off here (water is 68°!) when it's hot out! Great snorkeling in any Florida springs too. Clarity is around 80 feet!"
"This is MUST go place. Beautiful and water is so cold and nice for hot day!! Never expected for this to be good but I would go back there again and again! Wow. I am so amazed how beautiful this spring is. Lots of shade and the food shack they have is decent and very reasonable! I am so happy to have found this place."
