"As a writer and used bookstore connoisseur, this place is such a great find in Lakeland, or any town. As a change of pace to the Books-a-million down the way that specializes in more extra curricular merchandise, BOOKends is locally owned, well stocked, reasonably priced, staff = personable. The owner's mother was working the first time I stopped through. She was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Got credits towards some trades I brought in. Will def be back. Definitely recommend."

"What a gem! I went to do laundry next door and found this place by accident and I am so happy. You walk in and the smell of books embraces you like an old friend. There are so many books, every genre, even YA and children's books. Since it's a used bookstore, they may not have a specific title you want but there are lots of consolation prizes! The lady who runs it was extremely nice."
"This is a great little spot to look for some used books. It's kind of a maze and a little intimidating, but there is so much to dig through. The workers are incredibly friendly and willing to help you find anything because they know this store inside and out. The prices are great, and they also accept books for trade (discount towards purchase). They even suggested bringing back the ones we purchased to go towards another purchase. I can't wait to go back and explore more."
