"A+++ Sunsations Pools was fantastic. We spent 3 months researching pool companies before we chose Sunsations. We checked company history, background, and history of owner. Sunsations stood out leaps and bounds and after our project was completed our expectations were met THERE ARE TOO MANY POOL COMPANIES IN THE TAMPA BAY AREA that cut corners, rip people off, strand customers, or scam. Sunsations is NOT one of them . We had an extremely complex project with a sloped yard, rip-rap, seawall, and a very narrow backyard. Our project involved, engineers and site plans in order to make this work. Sunsations was very competent and professional. From from the beginning with Craig Tenant, their salesman, who helped us design the pool all the way through their employees during the construction stages and the owner Steve over seeing the project.The whole process could not have been any more smooth. Steve, the owner, takes pride in his work. He is hands on and makes sure that he has the customer’s best interest in mind. Steve went above and beyond with his experiencen to make sure that we were getting the right pool for our needs. He made sure we were satisfied. His his communication and explanations throughout the whole process were very clear and concise. One advantage Sunsations has over other pool builders is that they have their own employees doing all the critical work. The subs, who they maintain good relationships with, were absolutely fantastic and equally professional. Everyone of Sunsation’s subs are very polite, courteous, competent, and very thorough. We could not have asked for a better company to design our pool and handle the complex project. Zach, their project manager, has been great helping us learn the operation and maitenance of our pool after the project has been completed. He has gone above and beyond to make sure we know how to properly care for and use our equipment. We spent three months researching pool companies every one of them had red flags except for Sunsations Pools. Most did not want to take on our complex project. We even went as far as tracking the owners history, and we found that Sunsations has had the same owner throughout its history and has never had any bankruptcies, is highly rated with the BBC, and is one of the pool builders chosen to build county public pools which meets a strict criteria. Unlike other pool builders sunsations didn’t require a large first deposit, which told us that they were a legit company that didn’t shift funds from other projects to pay for future projects which is common within the industry Sunsations pools uses their own licenses and doesn’t rely on other pool builders for subcontracting work. They do everything in-house or have reliable subs for whom they’ve worked with for years. These are all things that are extremely important and this was evident with clear comunication. 100% Satisfied and you will be very happy you chose them. There are too many unreliable pool builders, Sunsations isnt one of them and will do a great job."

"Not happy with this company. Our job started after a long wait during Covid (obviously not their fault), they came and took off the old waterline tiles and replaced with new ones, and our project director told us they were coming to spray the marcite on a particular day. I asked him when they were going to install our stair marker tiles and mosaics that we ordered, and he said they weren’t on the job sheet. I contacted the office and Josephine admitted we had an email chain about them, but blamed me for not responding to give the go ahead. A) I’m quite sure I did respond, and B) how am I supposed to know what she needs/and where was the follow up from her if she needed something. Very unprofessional. Another 6 week delay in august/September pool season while our pool was sitting empty. After completion, our waterline tiles started cracking. After some wrangling, they came out to fix. Two years later, 3 more cracked waterline tiles. I asked them if they’d please come out and fix, and apparently the owner or manager thinks our warrantee has expired and won’t come to fix it! It’s not as if we dropped something or did something to break it ourselves, but their workmanship was poor and they are not standing behind it. Avoid this pool company!!"

"Very happy with Sunsation Pools and Spas. You hear horror stories about some pool companies in Florida. Glad we did our homework as Sunsation deserves it's BBB A rating and Angie's List five-star rating. From the quote process with Tanner, choosing materials with Josephine, and then getting on time delivery in challenging times and finally working with Zack on the project phase, everything was done on time and as promised. We had some difficult cuts and angles around the spa area and had a tough time envisioning how beautiful it was going to look. They nailed it and brought our dream pool to life."

Though we ran into some unexpected problems, we had complete confidence in Sunsation Pools’ honesty, integrity and completion of the job in the most efficient way possible. We have to say that both of your main employees working on the job were awesome. Tanner worked like no one we have ever seen. Definitely the hardest working and dedicated person we have encountered in many years. The guy never even took a break. He did a great job prepping and getting the pool ready for refinishing.
