"They have over $60,000 of my money and never finished my pool all i have is a concrete shell and weeds .Do not use this guy i can not say it enough times do not use this guy .He is a crook.2022 and 2023. This is my back yard old grass and weeds .As i said DO NOT USE MODERN POOLS and any of his other companys ..."

"We signed a contract in spring of 2022 and paid them quite a bit of money. They promised the pool would be done in September of 2022. Then they changed the date to December 2022. No one ever showed up. Then they sent a couple of contractors in December to do some of the work and after that they disappeared. They did not return phone calls or emails. We went to their office several times and no one was ever there. The landscaping was completely destroyed in the yard. The sprinkler system was damaged. We had to bring in someone else to repair it. We finally hired another contractor to complete the pool this summer. Do not hire this company unless you want to pay big money for a cement hole in your yard The owner of this company Jordan Hidalgo owns several pool companies with different names and has scammed many people in all of the companies. He needs to be out of business"

"Do not give Modern Pools any money. Just dig a hole in your backyard and throw your money in there. Same thing. Modern Pools will take your deposit and start your pool, take more money and leave a hole in the ground. Then another company will come along to “rescue” you and guess what - same shadowy owner behind that pool company. He’s got 6 or more pool companies with different names… takes your money and spends it somewhere else but not on your pool. If it looks like a Ponzi scheme, acts like a Ponzi scheme, then… BUYER BEWARE."

"This pool company was highly recommended by one of our customers. Everyone was nice at the beginning an all but slowly started showing they true colors. My pool has not been completed all the way it has been almost a year. Ben came and collected the last payment and I haven’t seen then since March. I continue to call and get no answers to see when they’re going to continue my pool and finished. But unfortunately is not going to get done anytime soon according to Austin (sales man). They are not very responsive, they are very unprofessional, and not too long ago We Received a release of contract on my email them stating that they don’t know when they’re going to come back to the job field and finish. Basically saying they running out of funds and attached a general release that if we wish to proceed in another direction, with no further liability to Modern Pools regarding our project. After they came and collected last payment. This company try to be slick and get me off the contract. Like we didn’t paid in full. We got served not too long ago from a paver company sayin they haven’t got paid for the materials. And now there’s a lien on the House for the amount they owed. The paver company said we had 20 days to respond to papers that were serve talk to Austin and they said they were going to take care of it. Unfortunately we have not received any documentation stating that it was taken care of. We are very disappointed. Please do not use this company."
