Holiday Inn Express & Suites Largo-Clearwater, an IHG Hotel 210 Seminole Boulevard, Largo, FL 33770

"Situated in Largo, a run down, lower level, blight area city is this sad, small but not cheap, dumpy hotel. It was rated 2 stars when I was there and I'm sure that was generously given because it sits next to a small park. Prices are high considering what you get. One elevator never worked the entire time and the hallways were constantly alive with the sounds of drunks, children running back and forth and fleas. The place was full of fleas. The free breakfast was probably the best part of my stay and the woman running it M-F is sweet and sincere. The remainder of the employees were mouthy and unpleasant. The GM and front desk personnel repeatedly over charged my credit card and I had to complain to get the repeated double charges removed. This happened every time I extended my stay and several other quests told me they had the same problem being over charged or double charged. Warning, if you stay here watch your bank account very closely."

"We ended up at this Holiday Inn Express by chance. The hotel we tried to book - our previous "go to" chain, didn't have the room configuration we wanted and the price was too high so we "settled" for this Holiday Inn Express nearby. I'm so happy that we did! For the rest of our trip (3 weeks), Holiday Inn Express hotels were our target hotels. The two times we settled for other hotels, we were disappointed. In fact, the "worst" of the Holiday Inn Express hotels we stayed in was better than the best of the other two. Anyway, the room was very nice, the beds were very comfortable,, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the included breakfast was very good. Holiday Inn Express is our new "go to" hotel chain!"

"Upon entering the lobby of the Largo Florida Holiday Inn Express you will know right away that this is an above average place. The Inn is spotlessly clean. But, what I noticed right away was that warm smile on Ashley’s face. She and everyone employed there were absolutely fabulous. The room was great. I am used to a comfortable bed. Room 223 had a king bed that was made for me. The breakfast dining was very good. The usual eggs, cereals, pancakes, rolls and biscuits were available. What set it apart was the cinnamon rolls. Yummm. I will be back. Kudos to the staff for taking the extra effort."
