"They will entice you to shop there by sending promotion codes and once you are there they will not honor them. I had a coupon with an expiration of 12/31/23 without any dates restrictions listed and the cashier simply stated that it wasn't valid. Doesn't seem a fair practice to me."

"I have a French class that requires a textbook of which i bought the ebook version. The ebook has an access code to which I didn't receive in the way I should have. I email them, no response. I call them twice and only a person picked up once. They told me it will show up in my student email in a bit even though it's changed. The email I signed up with cant be changed so since UCF changed their student email But they assured me it will still come up. So I waited. And waited. for nearly 3 weeks. I email the bookstore staff twice. They literally ghost me. I had to bother my poor Success Coach and tell him to bother the staff. Only then did I receive an email with instructions of who specifically to contact. Perhaps I'm blind. And didn't see that information on the site; I'm not sure. However, no one informed how to even get it remotely fixed until I had to ask a person of higher authority to reach out. This went on for just short of three weeks. The frustration I had was immense, especially because that ebook cost me almost $300. I didn't want to have to potentially buy that again. I'm hoping this will encourage them to do better."

"My first semester here I have learned that this is genuinely the worst store I’ve ever been to. My books never showed up when I had them delivered to me, and I was essentially forced to buy double of my books. I reached out for assistance after asking my leasing agent, neighbors, the parcel locker company, and UPS, I was advised that I needed to talk to the bookstore. The ONE email responding to my 250 dollars of 2 books gone gave me the run around. I called the store, sent more emails saying I did for a week straight and received no answers. Highly don’t recommend this place unless it’s absolutely necessary."

"I think this new Fox Tail on campus offers a nice working/studying area for faculty and students. I wished they had also couches to read books. The other issue is that now the customers are not able to grab a book from the bookstore and read a little bit here before purchasing. Other than that, I think there is better environment and coffee here."
