"Top tier pastrami, reasonable prices, super filling. Cake could feed a medium-sized whale"
"Never.....Ever......less than a 10 in my book. I've been coming here for 25 years. Love it!! I have traveled on the road through many states, and nothing compares to Wrights Deli. First class food and service. Great historic story. Tampa landmark for sure. The BEST!!!!!"
"Good sandwiches, great cakes and great service! Wrights Gourmet always delivers a consistent experience. It's going to be good!"
"This is a popular and well-known sandwich and cake shop in the area. It’s very popular with the locals, so expect a long line if you visit. However, the staff are pretty good about getting people through quickly and orders fulfilled in a reasonable time. We ordered a couple of sandwiches - the Paris and the California Reuben. Both were delicious, although we liked the California one more. We also ordered a Hawaiian Princess Cake for dessert, and it was wonderful. The cake ‘slice’ was moist, flavorful and large. While a bit pricey compared to other sandwich shops, we will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches and cakes in the near future."
"Really enjoyed this cafe. There’s a large selection of sandwiches, salads, and bakery goodies. The beef martini was delicious but next time I would get the bread toasted. The Paris was interesting. I didn’t think I would enjoy the Spanish bean soup but it was well made. The home style potato salad and green potato salad were solid. I would pass on the coleslaw, although one could tell that it was freshly made - it wasn’t to my liking. Lastly, I would always recommend the alpine cupcake or red velvet cake from here, super yummy."
