"i hate to say this… but i don’t recommend coming here. the food was abysmal. my partner and i just spent $100 on food that we barely took two bites of. i actually can’t remember a time where i had food this bad. like, it’s not that it just wasn’t that good, it was actually gross. i got the gnocchi, and it was super powdery/chalky & it tasted like rotten cheese. i genuinely wonder if it went bad or something? my partner got the penne, and it was a little better, but still tasted like week old grocery store pasta at best. i’m trying to understand the good reviews, and i figure it must be because of the service and atmosphere, both of which are actually really nice. but for me i come to a restaurant to enjoy my food. and this was actually gross and a waste of money, time, and calories. i will note, the server we had was really kind & the wine was good."

"Great location on Davis Island, and a very cool atmosphere. Understated but cozy. The server (Julia) was 5 Star. The host/manager when we were greeted, was less than impressive. The biggest disappointment of dinner was the food. Don't get me worng, it was good, but the salmon was really salty. I paired it with angel hair pasta which was very good. My companion had the butternut squash ravioli and found it heavy and caked in too much cheese. I would go back and try something else though, server was great, and the atmosphere is very cool. The value is also quite impressive"

"They have the best bread!! Overall experience was wonderful. Weather permitting, I recommend you eat outside in the alley type seating. So cozy and a cute little Italian vibe. Waiter recommended a cheese wheel appetizer because what we wanted was out. It was an interesting experience. Wouldn't get it again, but it was cool to try something new. I ordered chicken alfredo - very creamy and tasty! Needed salt though. My wife ordered shrimp and scallop scampi - she said it was very good and seafood was cooked well. The star of the meal was the bread! Loved it. Waiter was very nice. Would come here again!"
