"This is the worst thrift store in Fort Myers. I bought a coffee machine, we plugged it in and the light was on, but when I got home and I try it with water and a coffee capsule the water wasn’t running, the machine was broke. I went back with the machine 2 days after with the receipt and they told me they don’t take merchandise back. That’s stealing my money, simple like this, they sell broken items and they don’t accept them back. You guys stole $20 from me."
"The one thing that rubbed me wrong today was when I asked an employee that was stocking shelves what the tag color was, and he said "I don't know, go look at the tag in the front of the store" I get he might not know, it was the way he said it, like I was stupid. Rude and kind of snotty, I felt embarrassed in front of the other shoppers. So for the good stuff, we found some good items and the cashier was awesome. He has rung us up in the past and is always pleasant."
"I wish no stars was an option. I was scheduled to have office furniture picked up on 7/24/23 in Fort Myers, Fl. When I spoke to a woman on the phone she was eager to pick up every since piece of furniture with no more questions asked. When the movers showed up they refused to take a desk with a few scratches at the bottom along with a bookshelf. One of the two movers shattered a vase on the floor... I get it accidents happen. The two movers left without confirming everything was picked up, leaving me waiting for them for 10 minutes. I am not impressed with the overall experience. If the woman I initially spoke to asked to see pictures of the furniture and refused them beforehand I would have made other arrangements for the furniture to be picked up. Some training with this staff is evident. To get a hold of anyone on the local SA website is nearly impossible. I will not be choosing the SA for anymore donations."
"Spacious. Has lots of clothes, dishes, knicknacks, kitchen stuff. Some rugs. Smallish linen section. Was surprised how expensive some of the used couches were. Others were really cheap. I bought 3 casual summer dresses, two shorts for husband,"
"$18.99 for a used pan. I understand it's a higher cost area for most thrift shops overall, but you're better off saving money on Amazon or eBay even with shipping fees because there is not a single item in there store cheaper than what's online. Anyone remember when thrifting was to save money instead of having someone stick a price tag with the first online price they see? Many of these stores have underpaid employees who will incorrectly scan items meant to be discounted and will pocket the extra. Save the gas and don't bother"
