"Very overpriced! I was shocked at how much some of the used shoes and clothing items cost. I understand the proceeds go towards a good cause but they would probably have more sales if they priced their items realistically."
"Such a bad experience. I will go out of my way to make sure as many people as I run into know about it. Horrible. I walked away feeling inadequate, worthless and stupid. Would have definitely been a much higher rating for a thrift store, until getting in line behind at least 12 frustrated people. One of the volunteers announced she was getting a manager ( I did not make the request, I hadn't complained or even was noticed). Ahhhh relief right? Someone to come in and say we are so sorry about your wait, our volunteers are working as hard as they can and we do appreciate your business. Hahahahahahahaha! To say he came out of the back not happy, is an understatement. I asked a respectful question as he went by, and he yelled at me in front of all 10 people in line. YELLED. Indicating the woman standing in front of him, "AT LEAST THIS WOMEN WAS PAYING ATTENTION!" I was shocked, I thought bad day? No one in ANY retail business has ever shouted at me, let alone as if I were senile. I put my $100 worth of clothes down and said politely, still quietly "you should never, ever speak to someone, no matter what the circumstance, is like that." He pointed to the door and shouted AGAIN " THERES THE DOOR". About a half an hour earlier I was standing near the sweet lady checking people out who said, "I wanted to get you earlier, there is too much cash in the drawer". He yanked open the drawer grabbed wads of cash and stuffed it in his pants. Where was that going? I'm glad all the other reviewers had such a great visit but it was my first and as a long time local, will be my last. I will go out of my way to make sure people know it is not a store they should spend their money for any charity in. Go to one who will treat you like a human. Not like someone lucky to be standing there."
"I used to shop here regularly. Today will be the last time. I was practically accused of stealing. I was looking at purchasing a pair of Adidas leggings. I wanted to make sure they would fit so i slipped one leg in the, not even all the way up to my hip, over my shorts, and walked to a mirror. As i turned and proceeded to take them off an extremely old woman with white hair approached me and said "you need to take those off!" She then proceeded to tell me I should have gone in the dressing room to try them. I've been thrifting for almost 40 years. I've ALWAYS slipped clothes on over my clothes and have NEVER been approached by an employee. They can clearly see what im doing! That whole encounter made no sense and she was rude and unpleasant. I'm done with that store! They're prices are high and the majority of clothes are for ages 70+. The only thing worth getting is the glassware and there isn't much to choose from anymore."
"A lot of items they will try to charge you more when you go to check out saying they belonged on a different rack or in boutique . Seems unorganized when you blame this on your staff for not knowing what section the clothes should be in. The lady at the front desk told me this about 3 of my items and tried to upcharge me to what she said it should be. I have never had this happen and I frequent all the thrift stores in Pasco, she is very unprofessional and rude. Definitely not use to this type of customer service or the lack of. They act like they have decent prices in an over priced store. Tshirts 6.99 for used clothes. Also if it has any kind of tag they will tell you it should be n the boutique regardless if it came from Walmart. You would think at a charity store they would not be like this."
"The prices for clothes are higher than most thrift stores ($6 for shirts, $8 and $9 for pants), but if you pay attention to sales, you can buy 4 clothing priced $7 or less for $15. Shoes were 25% off today. There is very little furniture. You can find clothes, handbags, gowns, shoes, assistive medical equipment (walkers, crutches, diapers, etc), puzzles, pet gear, baby stuff, holiday decor, dishware, etc. The store is in a strip mall with plenty of free off-street parking. Cash and major credit cards are accepted."
