Avis Car Rental

"Avis staff members were very friendly and helpful. The process was easy and affordable. The original car they gave was not really satisfactory. They easily switched me to another car with no problems or issues. It was an easy experience. I will rent with them again."

"My car rental was good, but the vehicle smelled of stale smoke. Management fixed the issue to my satisfaction. Hopefully it won’t happen next rental. Staff was very helpful and the cars are late model and in very good condition. Avis rocks!!!!"

"I would have loved to have left a good review especially since the lady at the preferred counter was very helpful but we had issues with the actual rental car. I typically don't like to write reviews but need to bring this to attention for others. First the car was not cleaned. This is a second time I rented from this location and the car was not thoroughly cleaned. Then when we started the car, the tire pressure light came on indicating one of the tires had low pressure. It was difficult to find someone to address this in the garage but when I did, they mentioned they would need to take the car to an off site location, which would take additional time, which we did not have. We ended up going to the local gas station to add air. We checked all tires and another tire had a tire pressure of 85!!! That's double the max for the tire. I'm not sure how that tire did not explode! Why did Avis not properly check the tire pressure before renting to customer?? This put my family in danger and could have ended very badly for everyone. We were able to adjust all tires, but later that day, the car would not start....there was an issue with the battery. No lights were left on or anything else to drain electrical. We had to jump the car to get it started. When leaving for the airport, the car would not start again and had to do the same. If not for family having jumper cables, this would have left us stranded. This was just too many big issues that could have been avoided if Avis took the time to inspect their vehicles. This can cause major issues for other customers. Another problem was the windows were not closing properly. There was a gap between the side and front window, and had to manually push the window to get it to align properly. Good thing it did not rain at that time. I've had better experiences with Avis and was very disappointed with this rental, which will effect my future rental choice."

"If I could give this rental a “0” rating I would. This was by far the worst rental experience that I have ever had. It was very apparent that the car was not touched when it was returned from the previous renter. The car had a very bad odor, seats were sticky, found chicken bones in the cup holder, soda spilled all over the door. The outside was terrible as well. When you spend a large amount of money on a car rental you should have a pleasant experience. Upon returning the vehicle, the gentleman who checked it in claimed not to speak any English so we were unable to speak to him about nothing at all. I will never rent from AVIS again nor would I refer anyone to them. I have rented 3 cars in the past 4 months and have rented with AVIS. Something has went wrong every time."

"Rent a vehicle and fly all day to pick it up on a schedule and it’s filthy. Don’t have time to stand in line to wait for another vehicle. Asked if they would wash it. No. I would have taken it to get it washed but not out of my pocket. So I’m not praising your efforts Avis. Get it together Avis. So for a week I drive around in a nasty truck. Why????"
