"DO NOT sign up your kid here. It’s a complete rip off!. My daughter went to the downtown location there is NO free parking like they say there is when you enroll your kid. The door is unlocked all the time on Thursday night, meaning any homeless person can just walk in this location. As you know downtown jax has a lot of homeless people. The staff is incredibly rude, The kids don’t have a say in anything. The teachers choose the songs and the kids don’t get to learn individually. All their work with kids is based upon what they want and not the students . Don’t waste your money it’s a nightmare. To top it off , Another student was bad behaved in my child’s class, every Thursday my daughter would come out and complain how the boy didn’t allow them to focus. The teacher gave him multiple warnings yet still stayed in class throughout the whole winter semester. If you want your child to truly learn and expand this is Not the place !"

"Wow! What an amazing experience I had at the Jacksonville Children's Chorus this past year; it is truly a first class choral organization. I worked in the program office, accompanied rehearsals, and taught music classes. The work environment is fast-paced and exciting as we plan and execute performances and events, run rehearsals, and work with parents, students, and volunteers. My favorite thing about JCC are the smiles. Whether you have a preschooler in the First Steps of Music, or a high schooler in the Touring Choir, the administrative and artistic staff radiate joy, enthusiasm, and love as they guide each student in their musical journey. This same passion is also seen in the singers as they spread the joy of music to communities local, nationally, and internationally."
