"this is my first bad review for this store because my husband and I have been going there for years and every time we spend at least $500 or more there because usually the service is great. However, this last time I was there I think you should know that I went there to surprise my husband with a new pair of glasses. I wanted to give him something special so I asked for the best kind of glasses, I was told by associate #S96NTEGE that I could get him a custom pair that cost 208.00. I asked him if he didn't like what I picked out if he could come back later that week and switch out the custom frames to what he might like more. I was told we could do that. Consumer alert, you cannot do that! My husband went back to change the lens and ask about the frame and he was told he couldn't and that there was a scratch on the lens. I am furious that not only was I lied to but I also was given a lens that apparently have a scratch on them (which i did not see). Not to mention that I ignored the fact that my father (who is a veteran) was telling us a story about the oakley glasses they gave him in Iraq and the associates just looked at him like his story was crazy, plus wouldn't honor the military discount for us since they said that they couldn't because I was already getting a deal. My husband ended up buying a new lens for himself which is fine. But I just to let you know, if you spend a butt load of money on a custom frame DO NOT think you can change it out make sure that it is what you want because they will not honor it if you go back. Otherwise we love the store and the product. I'm not too happy with the associates there that weekend. You tell me, do you see a scratch? Cause it's hard for me to understand since I never took it out of the box and my husband didn't wear it till after he bought the other new lens."
