"This was our 1st visit to St. Augustine and we were extremely pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and smelled great! The bed was so comfortable, lots of pillows too. Excellent, central location to attractions and restaurants. The on-site restaurant was very good also! Sweet, helpful staff. Next visit, we'll stay here again."

"Clean rooms with location close to all the attractions. Great stop for the dogs with nice grassy area out back and a pet clean up station. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. From the cars in the parking lot, it seems to be a bit higher end clientele. Very safe. Really liked the outside deck that overlooked the tidal area out back. I saw a huge snapping turtle out there so keep an eye out if you have small pets. Typical Florida."

"The room was incredibly clean and smelled so good. Great job with the housekeeping. The air in the room smelled fresh. Beds were comfortable. I loved the shower. It was very clean.The counter top ice machine was a great touch in the room. The staff were polite and helpful. We will definitely stay here again."

"Had the most amazing stay here. Between the management team and the staff every need to my trip was catered for on a personal level. The most comfortable bed ever with good quality linen and pillows. If you are looking for a ultra clean and modern hotel with excellent personal customer service where the staff go above and beyond to cater to you , this is the place to stay. Will be sad to leave but when back in the area will be staying here again no doubt. This hotel really is a hidden gem. Would recommend this over the Hilton 100% you won’t be disappointed"

"Well, the location and atmosphere at this Hotel was definitely top notch. This hotel is outside of the main strip of St. Augustine, but being out of the congestion was highly favorable for our stay, and we were only a block away from the Trolley into the main strip, so we were very happy with this location. The room was cozy and perfect for our weekend getaway, and was extremely comfortable after long days of site seeing! The staff was extremely helpful on the phone prior to our arrival, and very welcoming when we arrived and provided us with excellent information on the area! I highly recommend the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel, it was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! If you are looking for a genuine hotel with history and quality service I would recommend the Ponce, and if I return to the area I will definitely be staying again. I have seen many reviews mentioning the train in the rear of the property, and I can honestly say since I stayed in the rear of the hotel facing the train; it was really not that noisy or an inconvenience to us. Maybe lighter sleepers have more difficulty, but it was a white noise throughout the night. I was overall very pleased with the hotel, and it was perfect for our 2 night stay! We did not get to use the pool area, but it was clean and big and looked great, we unfortunately just did not have enough time to swim, otherwise we would have! I highly recommend the ponce, and will return to this hotel if I am in the area. It was a great stay!"
