"Beware of this hotel if you are a smoker. On a recent stay I was charged for smoking in a room that was a non-smoking room. I had a witness that was with me the entire time that can attest to that fact, yet they said the room had a strong smoke odor in the room which neither of us ever smoked in the room but was charged 160.50 additional days after I had left for the so called odor. It was a completely ripped off. Make sure you get the manager or someone that works at the hotel to go to the room and check it out before you check out for any bogus charges. I was completely ripped off by them."

"Stayed here twice and never again. Fire alarm went off during BOTH stays. Thought it was a fluke the first time until it happened again! Fault of incompetent staff both times!! First incident someone burnt the eggs for breakfast, second incident a staff member was cleaning the fire pull station. WTH??? Fire alarm is VERY loud in the rooms and scary to wake up to. Saw a German cockroach in the room as other reviews mentioned. Housekeeping is a hit or miss. Issues with front desk changing my rate. Monique the manager couldn't care less about my complaints. When I told her I was done with this hotel, she responded, "No worries." Just, wow."

"The Comfort Inn in Yulee was in a great location for someone traveling. Conveniently located right off the highway, it lived up to expectations. Rooms and common areas were clean. Flooring was vinyl which I like to see in pet friendly hotels. Linens were fresh. My room had a microwave, mini-fridge with no freezer, old fashioned coffee maker with pouch, and a large flat screen tv that worked perfectly. Ice machine in the lobby. I could hear hallway noise, but it was not a problem. The bathroom light only works with the fan which was too loud to leave on longer than absolutely necessary, but no other complaints. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was good with waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, cereal, apples, and very nice Chobani yogurt among other offerings. The pet fee was high in my personal opinion, but seems to be the going rate these days. The 2 Chargepoint EV charging spots worked well, were clearly marked, properly reserved for EVs, and the reason I chose this hotel. There are also 2 more at the Holiday Inn next door. Fast food was easily obtained before 10 PM from KFC, McDs, Wendy's just outside the door."

"The rooms were very clean and the ac drops to 45 if needed! I loved that idea ! The front desk help was awesome !! The location is near multiple restaurants and I-95. The place seemed quiet even though it was packed out ! Breakfast starts at 6 which I loved because I leave for work at 6:30. The breakfast was okay not 5 star but it will do."
