Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Dolphin Mall

"I would love to give this location 5 stars but it would be a disservice to the nature of providing meaningful feedback for the purpose of improvement. I’m diamond member and was hoping to check in early so I arrived at 1:30pm. I was asked to return in a half hour. I came back in 2 and 1/2 hours and the room was still not ready. I played pool in the lobby until around 4:15pm. My wifey began to feel ill so I went to check on the status of my room only to learn that the room had been ready if the system had been refreshed. The process of accessing breakfast could definitely use some improvement by way of verifying actual hotel guests. There is a sign posted to provide your room number on the table with the food. However, the lady servicing the dining area was “selective” about who she asked t their room number. It was very apparent and verbally expressed by several that it felt discriminatory. Other than those two very unfortunate circumstances, the property was very clean and centrally located to popular venues and attractions."

"We had a good night sleep, quiet stay, and very spacious rooms. We used their gym which had everything we needed. Now the only bad encounter was when we went back downstairs to the breakfast bar, the staff decided to clean up early and put the food away. I suggest you get to their breakfast early don’t expect to have food 15 minutes before closing."

"This hotel is very clean and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing, dining area was very nice, and the staff was very friendly. The king size bed was comfortable and soft. The Dolphin Mall is a couple minutes away with many shops and great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!"

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were great and helpful. The room was big and had everything I needed for an extended stay. However, the housekeeping was really bad. My room was filthy and covered with hair (including pubic hair) and sticky stuff on the floors. The bathroom had piss under the seat and on the floor behind the toilet as well. The fridge had not been cleaned and what looked like juice was hardened on the bottom when opening the door. I meant to take a picture of the before and after cleaning but I'd already started to clean. Other than the dirty room, I really liked staying at this hotel. After I self cleaned the room, I had a great stay. I do hope the management at this location can actually do something about the housekeeping staff. It's really sad but this hotel isn't the first time I've come across housekeeping issues."
