"Clean! Nice two bedroom villa that backs up to the water. A great haven for escape. Experience Matlacha in its own unique quirkiness. A cross between Buffet and Hemingway. Sure to please all! Sadly destroyed during Hurricane Ian, this villa has been restored to its original unique character. The host is friendly, prompt and ever so hospitable. The sunsets set a high bar! Even the rain doesn't disappoint! Thanks for the great experience."
"We stayed here for the weekend and loved it! The cottage is beautifully decorated with mid century charm, and very clean and cozy. The owner is super nice and very informative about Matlacha Island. There's an awesome view in the backyard where you can watch dolphins swimming while watching the sun set. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is a very cool and colorfully painted little town. We can't wait to go back, and when we do, we will definitely stay at Matlacha Cottages again!"
