Palihouse Hyde Park Village

"My wife and I booked a stay at Palihouse for a weekend getaway, we were recommended to check it out since it was a newly opened hotel. It's a unique hotel experience and one that I won't soon forget. The lodging and furnishings are eclectic while the lobby bar offers some great drinks and food if you don't want to leave the hotel. But if you do want to step out for a bite or shopping, there are great food options and boutique stores within a short walking distance. I think you'd be silly not to give Palihouse a visit the next time you need a hotel in Tampa."

"We loved our experience here and actually booked to go back next month while in town for work. Staff was lovely and attentive. Bar staff was quick and friendly and the decor comfortable and quaint, room service was speedy. I appreciate that this hotel knows it is small and wants to do just a few items on the menu but do them really well. Loved the burger and the happy hour prices. My only negative critique is that I do not love that anyone that walks into the hotel can access the hallway where the rooms are located. I think for security purposes it would be great if this was only accessible with your room key. However I do love that hotel does lock the front door to street access at 11 pm, but would still like to see that the access to the rooms is only with a room key."

"I recently stayed at the new Palihouse in Hyde Park while visiting Tampa for work. Everything was truly beyond expectations, from the hotel staff to the decor and everything in between. I received wonderful recommendations on some outdoor explorations from the bar staff while enjoying a beverage at the bar while the lovely front desk staff got me checked in. On my first night I noticed my room was a tad chilly, as the thermostat wasn't working properly. The fantastic gal working the front desk overnight immediately offered to move me to another room or provide additional blankets. First thing the next morning the manager had the HVAC team in and remedied the problem while I was out exploring the town. The rooms and overall decor are absolutely stunning and the location is in an extremely walkable area, with shops and restaurants just a stones throw away. I was extremely impressed with every aspect of my stay and absolutely plan visit other Palihouse locations!"

"I’m honestly astonished by this place. Seriously, I’ve never just gawked at a hotel in awe and amazement. I spent no less than 10 straight minutes photographing the hotel to share with my wife. Upon entering the building, you’re hit with *all* the Havana, Mid Century Modern, and Art Deco design features. The decor and overall feel of this hotel is well thought out and intentional. The wood/woodwork, the perfect amount of gold accents, greenery here and there, tasteful pops of color & patterns, vintage art in all the right places, the moody lighting… stellar stuff, kudos to the designer. Did I mention how wonderful the staff is? Ellie at reception, and Olivia tending bar, were both engaging, professional, kind, and overall awesome people. I’ll most assuredly be staying here in the future, and I suggest you do as well. Cheers and thank you for a lovely stay, Palihouse."

"We had two rooms and loved the stay. We were excited to be apart of the opening week. The amenities and decorations in the room were wonderful and creative. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very attentive. The location is great and in a very lively area. The room also felt comfortable. Although, when it comes to the bathroom it would be nice to have the shower in a different position and more pressure. It also would have been nice to know what was free and not because in the fridge there were drinks with no label or prices. Also a broader menu for breakfast for kids and such would’ve been appreciated. The lighting is a little dim throughout the hotel and elevator. Also between the lobby where the bar is and rooms are there is no lock which means people from the bar could easily get into the rooms area which my family did not love. Overall, the stay was good and those are just the things we noticed that could be improved."
