"Dear Macy's Customer Service Team, I am reaching out to express my concerns following a series of unfortunate events that have led me to question the quality of your customer service and the professionalism of one of your managers. In August 2023, I made a purchase in advance which, after five months, had still not been delivered to me. Faced with this situation, I sought assistance at your store, where I was forced to wait 45 minutes before I could speak with an operations or floor manager. Regrettably, my encounter with the manager, who identified herself as MILEIDA,, not only failed to resolve my dilemma but was also a negative experience. Her behavior was rude, impolite, and completely lacking in professionalism. She showed no interest in resolving the issue or in issuing an apology for the delay and inconvenience caused and, inappropriately, withdrew from the conversation without offering a solution. Moreover, I had to endure an excessively long wait to process the return of my funds to my credit card. As a Macy's customer, I believe a manager's salary is justified by their ability to provide exceptional service, which in this case was non-existent. However, I would like to commend the attitude and efforts of your store associate, Susan, who demonstrated a superior level of courtesy and commitment to assisting me during this unpleasant incident. My intention in writing this email is to suggest that additional training in management and customer service be provided to MILEIDA, as her conduct does not reflect the standards I expect from Macy's. This experience has led me to consider the possibility of posting a negative review about your establishment, particularly the branch at The Fall. Therefore, I urge the store manager to pay special attention and take the necessary steps to ensure that customer treatment by the managers and staff is always professional and respectful.."
"At the Macy’s located at The Falls, there is an employee called Darryl (please see. picture attached) who works at the jewelry department, this person mistreated my mother, she went to buy a Christmas present, when she kindly asked for a paper bag, he said that those bags are meant for very expensive jewelry, and he said so in a very rude manner. He should not be working with customers, nor be talking to a customer in that way, denying a bag to a lady for her gift just purchased. I’m very upset and disappointed with this Macy’s location and it’s choice of personnel is really weak, poor and they just really don’t care. This person shouldn’t be working in retail. I hope Macy’s HR sees this and does something about it."
