Reviews
"Not that this will make a difference given all the one star reviews, but I am 40 years old. I have been on the same prescription for almost 10 years and the pharmacist refused to fill it for me. I called 6 other CVS pharmacies and explained my situation, that I am an entrepreneur who is down in Florida for art shows and offered to provide receipts for these events. I was in The Air Force and have degrees both in Logistics and Practical Nursing. The first pharmacist was young and inexperienced and thought that Ohio Medicaid "Had" to fill it for me and treated me like a criminal because I knew I had to pay out of pocket....even though I explained the reason I knew this was because I received Macrobid treatment for a Uti they wouldn't cover, 2 weeks earlier...also filled at CVS and easily verifiable. I went in the next day and spoke with the chief pharmacist. She too treated me like a common criminal and acted as if I was dishonest. She actually had the gall to lie to me and say they didn't even carry what I needed, when it was actually filled the previous day and the only issue was when I went to self pay the $39 and was treated like a criminal trying to pull a fast one, since I knew my insurance wouldn't cover it. Anna treated me as a dishonest less than human criminal, when the only person being dishonest was her. I hope her life gets better. The only people who treat people in such a heinous fashion, are bitter people who try to make themselves feel better, by treating others horribly. I had to bug my doctor to send a new script, to another CVS an hour away to get my prescription filled by a human pharmacist and get the films I do not like, instead of the tablets. For the chief pharmacist to refuse to fill a low dose legal prescription that I have been on for years on record with CVS', is both ridiculous and unscrupulous. Given my age and the lowest dose humanly possible, no red flags were in any way shape or form, merited. 2 MG would do absolutely nothing for an active user. CVS is supposed to be in the business of helping people. To deny my treatment for no other reason than uneducated bias, is unprofessional. She does not deserve her job. I hope that my statements make a difference. She has no right to treat people in such a fashion and lie to them. She is one of the worst people I have ever met. Please seek help like I did. Hopefully you do not receive a person who denies it to you, like you did me or tells you to drive 40 hours home while pulling a camper, to receive medical care like you did me. Go back to Ohio she said. This is The United States! I should be able to receive medical anywhere, if I am willing to pay for it. I would never tell you to go back to your place of origin, like you unscrupously told me."
"They pick up the phone but don’t answer. So if you need them to fix that same mistake they do w your prescription every single month, instead of them fixing it w a simple phone call (literally - “yes, I know the price is a lot, go ahead and process” - which why would I have placed order in first place and PREPAID if I wasn’t ok w it), you have to come in person. Incredible that in this time we live in we have to do things like if we still lived in the 1950s."
"I try to give them the benefit of the doubt since they’re close to my house and have a drive thru but this past experience was my last straw. I have been waiting for a medication my son needs for three weeks now and no one has reached out to give me the status. When I call I get a rude lady who tells me she can’t do anything until they receive it from center fill. It’s been 3 weeks now waiting for that medication and when I call the lady gives me the number of center fill rather than doing it herself as this is within their company. I call center fill and surprise no answer. I ended up going over to Walmart who always fills my medications in a timely manner and keeps me updated. The medication will be filled tomorrow. Do better."
"This pharmacy has a super unprofessional staff. They are always giving you excuses all the time. They let you in the window waiting and with no explanation. They never have orders ready and they send you emails saying the order is ready to pick up. They are a mess. I ask for a supervisor and they let me waiting in the window like for 20 min and they even come to the window. Four people inside and anyone come to the front. I definitely will report this. No way. Every month they do the same."
"The problem is not being understaffed it’s being fully staffed and still not know how to keep everything moving in a timely manner. I made a line for 15 min meanwhile the line behind me got longer and longer with about 12 people, I finally get to the front and I have to wait on the side an additional 20 min for the “Doctor” to come back “from the bathroom” then she comes back and is in La la land, she approves it and just throws it in a bin didn’t tell anyone and I’m there still “waiting for her approval”. No sense of urgency for anyones time or sensitive situations. Save your time and go to another pharmacy it will save you time and a headache ."
