"First impressions of this office are really good. Everyone has a great attitude from the beginning to the end. Michael, Gigi,Bitsy, Seth and Mrs. Adam's all took care of me and I'm very grateful. There were more people too, please excuse me I didn't get their names. Outstanding job all around!!"
"I really like this dr and Amanda the PRN"
"Dr. Edwards was my sister’s (R. Whitfield) physician at Life Care Center of O.P. I never got a chance to meet him. I was told he was a good doctor and his assistant comes early in the am to see residents. Finally I met his Assistant, Dr. Pete, who voiced concern but did not show it. He also had an APRN who visited my sister, but I never met her. A bill was sent to my house from her for care received. Somehow, the resident got a black eye and Dr. Pete looked at her, shined a flashlight in her face, did not recommend anything, then left with no orders. I saw him another time regarding a Diabetic sore on her foot. He instructed the CNA to put some expensive cream on it, but did not give an order for more cream to be applied. The wound nurse was changing her dressings daily on her feet and legs but to me I saw little improvement. My sister had several medical problems such as weak heart, swelling, sores on her feet and legs, peeling skin, and developed bed sores (before she passed). She was admitted to the hospital next door door and I do not believe she was visited by anyone from his office. After d/c she had a new diagnosis that was never addressed, as far as I could tell. Bottom line, it was not a good experience dealing with his Assistants. When a person is in a n.h., physicians should make it a point to communicate with family members if the resident is not orientedx3 and cannot give factual information about their care. If Dr. Edwards is too busy to see his residents, he needs to quit as he is doing them a disservice. I did not have a good experience him, his Assistants, nor his office. I would not recommend him for nursing home care."
"My kids really feel comfortable with this staff and with Dr. EDWARDS, especially my teenage son. He has a great sense of humor and was cracking us up throughout our visit. I love how they are quick to address a problem and find a solution. Great office. Would recommend."
"I like Dr. Edwards. He has great bedside manner. The problem is with communication after the visit. I left messages with his nurse and I never got a call back. I have left messages before on previous visits and have had the same result. After this last visit I left messages about my insurance not covering a prescription he wrote and told them I was in pain. They never corrected the issue and did not even call me."
