"I absolutely love Heart 2 Heart!! I gave birth to both of my kids and if I ever have more, this is exactly where I’m going AGAIN!!! Michelle is amazing, answers all questions with accuracy and truth, she’s super supportive, her and her team take the time to get to know you throughout your pregnancy and they truly care about you!! I can’t say enough good things about this place. They are like family! The office and rooms are all extremely clean and homey, my favorite part is that when you walk in, you don’t feel like you’re in a doctors office! Also when you first walk in, Kat is the first face you see and she is always super friendly and sweet! They all truly care, it’s an amazing place to go!! During each one of my pregnancies, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to go, I am so blessed to have come across Michelle and her birthing center!!! I highly recommend coming here!!"
"Have absolutely loved my experience with Heart 2 Heart. The amount of care and love that goes into each mother and child is incredible. You really have a chance to bond and trust your birthing team, which makes a huge difference. Their support network from lactation consultants to chiropractor to birth class is phenomenal and cannot be replicated at a hospital. My birthing experience was so powerfully good. Thank you Michelle and team! Also big shoutout to Kat in the office who is wonderful and always has an answer to my questions!"
"Very long and detailed review ahead (as long as google will let me make it!) My husband and I were looking for a birthing center because we have a toddler, and a lot of hospitals were not very understanding or helpful in that if we couldn’t find care for her that she could be with us. We set up an initial consult with H2H and had a list of questions ready for when we saw them. We live an hour away and just wanted to be prepared that this is what we wanted in terms of the drive and get a real feel for the facility as well as the people working there. When we initially got there, the facility itself looks so much better in person than online. Very homey feel and good vibes when you enter. They have 3 birthing rooms and a full kitchen for you to use if you’d like during your labor/delivery. They have scripture in the walls which made us feel even more comfortable about the the place and people working there. We were very transparent with Michelle about the possibility our daughter may need to be with us - and she explained that although it wasn’t a great idea, if it was a last resort she could be there, but she highly recommended we bring someone to watch her on the off-chance we had to do a hospital transfer, and also so I had support from my husband during my labor and delivery. Michelle was also very transparent from the beginning that she operates differently than other midwives. She’s a very hands-off midwife and gives you the opportunity to have the birth YOU want, without her getting much in the way. She assists in births - but doesn’t control them. You have to be very specific with her on what YOU want, and she will do it. If you want her to be more hands on, tell her and she will be, otherwise she just steps aside and lets you do your thing. She is EXTREMELY informative and knows her stuff, and she works really hard to educate you on everything and anything you may need or what to know. If you have a question for her, she definitely has an answer and makes sure you understand her. Any time I was worried during my pregnancy I’d reach out and Michelle was ALWAYS quick to answer and help ease me. I also forgot to mention the reason we initially went for the consult - we had called on a Friday (which apparently was a day off for them) and Michelle answered the phone and talked for awhile with me AFTER she had been awake all night the previous day doing 2 or 3 deliveries! When she took the time just to do what I’d consider a phone consult to someone she didn’t even know, on her day off, after she’d been up all night, I knew that was a good sign! Michelle is very reliable and has been since the beginning. Their pricing is very straight-forward. There are no “hidden fees” and they don’t “gauge” anyone. As stated previously, Michelle is very honest and up-front with everything, including pricing. Some things are non-refundable even if you get transferred to a hospital, which Michelle goes over with you. Hello? She has to get paid too - and they do work with you during your whole pregnancy - that’s not FREE! In response to some previous reviews I noticed, yes, you check your own urine at every check-up. I personally didn’t know what I was checking for so I ALWAYS took a picture of the results and showed my midwives, which they actually liked! My only real “complaint” was Kat, she is a bit hard for me to read. I’m an extrovert and I think maybe she’s more of an introvert - and it made me a bit uncomfortable sometimes. I felt like every time I’d try to talk to her she just wasn’t interested, which is fine. And sometimes when I’d call her voice was just monotone (awkward for me). My only thing here for reviewers is just understand that you’re not working with her, she just schedules for you. And I don’t think she’s “mean”, she just isn’t bubbly like everyone else in the office, and that’s ok. Don’t let it get in the way of a potentially great birth experience when you call. I had a great birth experience and highly recommend this place! Love Michelle and will miss her dearly. I’m glad she delivered my last baby "
"The birth of our daughter Jetty was truly a dream come true thanks to the amazing care from the Midwife and birth team. Michelle guided my wife Lacey in the most beautiful way, our birth assistant Alicia was so helpful and calming. The whole environment was more than we could have asked. Thank you for helping bring our baby safely into the world and thank uou for the guidance after birth as well- the recommendation for the lactation consultant was truly a blessing. Thank you Heart 2 Heart!"
