Reviews
"I see all the reviews speaking on overpricing. I completely agree but that is not the only thing wrong with this store. It makes me wonder why isn't the person in charge checking the store reviews? You know if you have almost all 1 star reviews, something needs to change. I GARUNTEE the out of owners that thrift hop from town to town avoid this store simply based on the reviews. They use the last weekend of the months 50% off sale to justify keeping prices high. It's worrisome that nobody is taking these opinions seriously. Because these key thrift stores support many local charities. And if the store isn't doing well, then are the charity programs going to end? To top it off, the ladies are so rude, ESPECIALLY when 4:00rolls around and they start turning lights off and shutting the store down. Don't ever plan on coming in at 445 or 5, because at 5 on the dot they tell you that they are closing and it's time to check out. Open until 530) Honestly that alone is what stears me away. You don't go into any other stores and get kicked out 30 minutes before closing! Why? Because all business is good business! It's so ignorant it's almost laughable. Someone needs to take over and run it better. Take some pride in your store! And the community!"
"Very overpriced. Set of used dishes $45.00. We were told Walmart charges that much. I said this is not Walmart and items are donated. Retailers sell new items which can be returned. Thrift stores have gotten very greedy when they have just a bunch of old junk LOL"
"High prices and you can tell some of that stuff has been there forever. Some parts organized and other parts a mess. Need to lower prices and move some stuff. $200 for a used set of dishes! No $50 or $100s accepted."
"I've been shopping at this location for 12 years. Today I was denied a sale because I had a $50 bill. Instead of TRAINING their employees to identify NON counterfeit bills, they talked to me like I was a leper for having the audacity to want to make a purchase with LEGAL tender. 12 years of patronage.... Never again! Train your employees not to degrade, talk down to and embarrass patrons....and to take legal tender."
"Great thrift shop! Reasonable prices, a lot of good quality items and lots of furniture. The nicer pieces are quite expensive. However, you can still find a deal."
