"My sister was visiting from Wyoming, and I always like to do something fun when she's here. We enjoyed our experience and feel it was well worth the money. Personnel were well-versed on all the sea critters. The only issue was a grandma who let her unruly grandchild do whatever he wanted, but one of the employees did a fine job of curbing his misbehavior."
"I visited Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium shortly after it opened and was instantly mesmerized by beauty of the place and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, inviting, and accommodating. The animals are loved and well taken care of. I took my adult son who has Autism and behavioral issues. He yelled quite loudly a few times and was a bit disruptive. All the staff, especially Blue, made it abundantly clear that he was welcome there and they were comfortable with him. That is a rare quality. I live in the area so after a few visits, I bought the yearly pass. It is a small facility but for me worth the price. Yes, you can walk through it quickly, or you can take your time and immerse yourself in each exhibit. I recently was able to experience the new swim in the tank experience it was exhilarating. I will definitely be doing it again. Chelsea was my instructor, and she is amazing."
"The mermaids are close and personal. The aquarium is small, so if you're showing up early to see the mermaids, you only need 15 to 20 minutes to see the aquarium. If you want to touch the starfish or feed the sharks or stingrays you will need a few more minutes. Lots of kids and a nice gift shop at the entrance. Buy your tickets in advance during peak season. In winter, we didn't and were able to walk right in."
"AMAZING ATMOSPHERE!!!! My family and I absolutely loved this place! Everyone was so welcoming, the show was great and the fish were so lively; it was wonderful to see. You could tell they were all so happy to be there (unlike most of the aquarium fish that I've experienced in the past.) We were even allowed to meet our new bird friends up close and personal. Thank you Metailor for being to kind and welcoming! You are better than all the rest!"
"Love this place! From the minute we walked in, we felt welcomed. The cashier knew who we were, and sent us straight into the aquarium area. For some reason, they have become a parrot sanctuary. Doesn’t quite fit in, but there were a lot of them. But there were also lots of aquariums with all kinds of sea life. Octopus, hermit crabs, sea anemones, sea snails, some eels and a bunch more! I wasn’t expecting so much. I thought we were just going to see mermaids. And when we did see a mermaid, she was beautiful and graceful and mythical. It was an amazing show by a very talented and poised performer. We can’t wait to go back."
