"Dr. SHAW IS A TOTAL DISGRACE TO HER PROFESSION! She totally blew off my husband's shoulder. It turns out he has 3 tears! Treated him with no respect!!! A Retired United States Marine!! She should be trained in manners! He isn't planning on returning! The Veterans Affairs needs a complete overhaul!!!!"

"I thought the ATL VA was bad until I transferred here. Dr Merranda is one of the worst Dr. I've ever seen. I am 100% rated and Disabled via the Social Security Administration. This Dr. blows me off when I bring anything up. He literally told me "it's not that bad." My back and Hip are destroyed. The front of the house usually is decent but a few of them have that typical VA employee attitude and act so appalled when they're rude so you're rude back. The nurses seem to be okay, I haven't really had an issue with them, but they know what these poor quality doctors are doing as as a result, they're complicit in the poor service. This doctor on several occasions has purposely scheduled desired treatment dates 30-45 days in the future so as to avoid having to send me to community care, then, by the time I fix it it's too late and now that 20 something day window is closed. I understand I live in the middle of nowhere but at the same time I'm not asking for anything special. I just want the VA do live up to what they are contractually obligated to do. I did my part of the contract why is it so difficult for them do to theirs?"

"No complaints. Traveled here from out of state to get family member set up with care. From appt clerks, medical assistant, nurse, and doctor - every person gave excellent support. Sometimes above and beyond. The veteran is comfortable and happy with the service received. I will be able to go home having peace of mind that my family member is in good hands. I’m so appreciative!"

"We just moved to this area and changed my husband's primary care clinic from the New Port Richey clinic to this VA clinic in Lecanto. My husband and I have both been very impressed with this clinic's responsiveness and kindness! Some of their services are only on limited days of the month as this is not a large clinic. The doctor is quick to make local referrals for other nearby clinics or community care when not available at this location. Based on our experiences at VA facilities in Indiana and Florida (Florida gets a higher rating overall) I would rate this experience as Excellent!!"

"This Clinic is below standard. I took my husband for Labs. They expect family to stay outside in 100° weather. This is not how you treat Veterans and their families. At least at the VA hospital you are welcome inside as long as you wear a mask.. Then their computers were down again, so my husband rescheduled. They really do need to get their act together. We'll be going the long journey to the VA hospital from now on."
