"The doctor is very knowledgeable and honest. She will not tell you to do something if it is not in your best interest. If you think you need something - she can tell you the pros and cons of it and you can decide. For example - my foot hurts really bad and I think I need surgery for my bunion and hammer toes which I do - but she told me that it might not fix all of my pain and that I might not need surgery. So we are trying other alternatives and then if they don't work - then I will do surgery."
