"I drive an hour to come here because of the doctors, staff, cleanliness and care provided. I had my male hairless guinea pig fixed here and they are currently helping me figure out whats wrong with my female hairless guinea pig. Such knowledgeable vets that really take their time."

"My sweet mouse Minnie had been dealing with a chronic respiratory infection for some time and her condition worsened these past few days. I called the clinic and explained my situation. The receptionist was kind and was able to check with one of the vets and they got me in the same day. After she was examined by Dr. McLeod, Minnie had a poor prognosis and I did not want her to suffer. Dr. McLeod and I both concluded it was best to have her euthanized to end her suffering. The Dr. and her vet tech were so respectful and caring during the whole process. I repeated in tears that I felt silly crying over a mouse. There was no judgement from them and they assured me that all pets are loved and should be mourned. They gave me her paw prints on a clay disk with her name. I could feel that Dr. McLeod and her vet tech really care about their profession and their patients. I'm so thankful for this clinic and the fact that they didn't let my mouse suffer. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to others. They are an asset to our community and our exotic pets."

"We live in Fort Myers and while there was an exotic vet 30 minutes away, we decided to try Exotic Animal Hospital of Orlando instead. No regrets and definitely the right decision. We took in our sick baby chameleon. Everyone loved her and the doctors were very kind and informative. Even though she was too young to be diagnosed, Dr. Shuflita provided us with plenty of medicine to take home to try and help her. Unfortunately, it was later determined she wasn’t going to make it, so we took her back to the vet to which Dr. McLeod was very sympathetic and walked us through the process of euthanasia. Both doctors were amazing. I would definitely entrust them with my exotic pets in the future, and I 100% recommend this vet to my fellow reptile owners out there. "I had a bit of an emergency with my giant African Tortoise. Not many places would see him bc of his size. Exotic animal hospital went above and beyond to get me in on a cancellation in 2 days time! They helped me unload my turtle and walk him slowly into the office for his check up. They helped me the whole time and were very supportive by bringing me apples and lettuce to help him feel comfortable. The doctor did a wonderful job of helping me get to the bottom of our situation and gave me plenty of alternatives to try. He called and checked up on my turtle as well showing how much the facility truly cares. My Turtle is doing wonderful now and I couldn’t be more impressed with the professional attitude at this facility! Ten stars!"
