"What a great experience for a difficult situation - surgery. Every interaction with the professionals was pleasant and helpful. There were several instances where extreme patience was exhibited in challenging interactions. Each person we interfaced with went above-and-beyond to explain everything and ensure we were comfortable and that our questions were answered. We felt respected and cared for. The environment was clean and comfortable. Parking was very accessible and close to the front door. The bathrooms were neat and tidy. I would refer my patients to this facility without reservation, as my own experience there was stellar! Thank you to everyone who helped us....."
"Our Surgeon and the staff were great, skilled and funny with a good bedside manner. *Edited, originally I left a lower review due to some rude interactions, however this was at the surgeons office not the surgical pavilion*"
"Was a pleasant experience from check in to recovery. Not only did they go above and beyond for my son making him comfortable and keeping him calm, but they were checking on my wife and I in the waiting room. They offered warm blankets, drinks and snacks. Nurses were great. Awesome experience all the way around."
"Had a nice response to my review, below, but the owner suggested I contact their Administrator to discuss and possibly make improvements. Since I am pretty sure this is the woman I spoke with who was not sympathetic to my story about my hearing aids, I doubt I will contact her again. The doctor for my first surgery (on a foot) had already contacted the pavilion about his concern that my boot was not put on my foot post-surgery so I will leave that issue alone. Had two surgeries in the past 6 months at the surgical pavilion. Staff was friendly, but after first surgery, apparently did not follow doctor's orders to put my foot in surgical boot afterwards but only gave me a soft surgical shoe to wear, altho I had told them that I had the surgical boot with me in the car. Second surgery was a couple months later. Again, staff was friendly and I do believe they put my hearing aids, in their case, with my things under the gurney, as they were supposed to. However, I realized the next day, when I was alert and not nauseous, that my aids were not with my things. I did call that day about them, but they had not been turned in to anyone. The following day I even went out and looked in the parking lot, thinking they might have fallen out of my bag when I left the center, but no luck. Again the staff inside was helpful but no one had turned in my hearing aids. I called every week for a few weeks but nothing has turned up. Finally had to pay a partial price to get replacement items and charger. My audiologist said some surgical centers will reimburse part of the replacement cost when items this valuable have been lost, so I called and spoke to the pavilion coordinator (I believe). She was not sympathetic at all (which, to be fair is her privilege) but she was also more than a little condescending to me. She pointed out that the staff read me the list of my items stored before and after surgery to be sure everything was there. I do not recall this being done after the surgery, and would point out that when one is post-surgery and nauseous perhaps it would be better to have the driver be shown the list and have him/her check off that all is there. I finally could only ask, once more, that she have the staff look thoroughly for my hearing aids and case. I understand they clean every day, but am not convinced that the items could not be overlooked if no one alerted them to be on the lookout. She did say she would ask them to look carefully that night but left me with the impression that she was humoring me and nothing more would be done. Nothing I can do about that. But please, do not call patients "hon". Be certain prior to surgery that you and your driver both know exactly what your doctor expects of the pavilion staff."
"The check-in staff was more than friendly, and the triage nurse was so accommodating and friendly. The anesthesiologist ,anesthesia nurse and assistants we're so personable and had such great friendly dispositions while maintaining a very professional demeanor.I felt so comfortable going into surgery here. I also want to comment everything was set up,clean and ready for meto enter my bedside when I was called to the back. Ran like a well-oiled machine. Was thoroughly pleased with this facility."
