"Due to a long waitlist, I had to schedule my appointment with this location about 3 months in advance. Because of the distance from the location, I left well enough in advance but unfortunately hit rush hour traffic that caused a slight delay. I arrived at the hospital, which I'm not familiar with, about 2 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. It was very difficult to find their specific building — heavy traffic, many parking lots, etc. I called their office to advise that I was having difficulty finding their suite. The receptionist was less than helpful and simply gave me the building name and said if I'm not there within 10 minutes after the appointment time they wouldn't be able to see me. Panicking, I rushed and finally located the building and quickly ran inside. Once inside, I had to confirm at the front desk that I did not have COVID symptoms, get a guest sticker, and then take the elevator to the 3rd floor (but not before other individuals had to get off on the 2nd floor). I finally made it into the office around 12 minutes after my scheduled time. The receptionist advised me that the doctor would no longer be able to see me due to a busy schedule (there was no one else in the waiting area) and that I would have to reschedule. The next available appointment wasn't until August. I told them I'm not interested and left. I understand the need for punctuality and how busy schedules can be, especially post-COVID lockdowns. That said, the office provided no instructions on finding their office building, did not indicate such a tight window for making the appointment, and did not advise that I would need to stop at a desk upon entering the building. I called them in advance that I was running late due to an understandable issue, and instead of being accommodating, I was told I would need to wait another 3 months simply for showing up 2 minutes past the window they gave me. I was devastated to say the least. While I will not be using their services, I would recommend that anyone that has an appointment leave well in advance of the scheduled time. Apple Maps directed me to the hospital entrance instead of the specific building — when you pull into the hospital from Belfort Rd. (near the emergency entrance), you'll want to take the first right which will loop around a large lot to the Roger Main Building. Hopefully this helps and you can avoid a similar situation."
