"Suncoast Animal Clinic was my go to veterinary office for 10 plus years until I moved. Recently, I moved back and have a cat who was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor by another vet. That vet wanted to go right to surgery. I then remembered about Suncoast Animal Clinic and called to speak to Christine. She guided me in a better direction that was less invasive than surgery. My cat was seen by the vet on staff that day and she was kind, caring and thorough. Dr. Baker is normally who I've seen in the past. He's always been fantastic, honest and attentive but was not in the office this day. All staff members at Suncoast Animal Clinic are caring, kind and attnentive and honest. Cost of care is reasonable when compared to other Veterinary Practices. Very grateful for this office and especially Christine. Location is convenient and parking is easy."

"Worst experience I've ever had from a veterinarian. She was rude. I went yesterday to put my dog down, she was very sick. I know when my dog is ready. She refused and insisted on blood work, whick cost 335 dollars. Then call today and suggest the dog get put to sleep. I knew that yesterday. Cost another 150 dollars plus the original visit of 200. She just wanted the money. Terrible. I will never go there again. When I called and talked to receptionist before I took the dog in to be euthanized I told her I thought it was awful. When I got there she insisted I apologize, which I did not!!! Worst experience ever, never again. I had a friend help me with the bill. The receptionist made a comment to my friend that she hopes she gets her money back. What kind of comment is that to make to someone. I believe her name is Cathy. Not positive but I do not believe that needed to be said. The bill is between me and my friend, whom I also work for!!!! Terrible"

"I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Dr.Claudia was absolutely rude from start to finish. She insisted that I needed to collect a urine sample because they couldn't get one. After explaining to them that obtaining one wasn't possible she told me"if an 80 year old woman can get one you can too". The last thing I want to be is insulted during a pet emergency. Thanks Doc. Edited : You may not have one anymore but you sure had one at the time of my visit and I visited the location on 26th and not in Sarasota or I would have placed this review on the correct business page. Updated: Ive attached a picture of the bill that clearly shows im talking about this location.Whether her name was Claudia or not the rude Hispanic doctor that you had/have working there is who I'm and the other reviews are referring to. So rather than evading responsibilities you can get off of here and do a better job at customer service."

"We have used Suncoast for years. Dr Baker helped us enormously with our old lab baby at the end of her days. Now we have a brand new puppy and they have taken such great care of him. Especially when we had to rush him in on a weekend thinking he broke his leg. Got us in quickly and cared for him lovingly and efficiently. Looking forward to many many years with them."

"They won't give estimates even if you know exactly what you need already. The veterinarian got on the phone and said twice "well we're not the clinic for you." I'm not low income but when you speak to potential clients as rudely as I just experienced then it's never about the quality of care, the veterinarian only cares about how much they can get out of you. Veterinarians that don't care about pets but instead won't give an estimate because they're going to use sympathy to upcharge. Kinda vets that think or say stuff like "you can't put a price on it" if I call a human clinic for an estimate on a knee replacement without insurance guess what, I get an estimate. Dear owner, out of all the reviews on your business it seems there is a drastic problem there and I dodged your business based solely on the rudeness I experienced on the phone when I was polite. My reviews help others dodge businesses like yours because I care about the quality of service. Thank God you were rude to me or I might have given you money for incompetence. How long did it take you to read every review I've ever given? Google will let you remove my review. It took me 5 minutes to read all your business reviews lower than 3 stars and I'm confident in my review of your business and my choice to post it. Don't blame anyone but yourself when you have to move to continue your business."
