"We have been taking our fur babies here for a few years. Our puppies are our world. We love Doc Y. He takes the time to not only treat your pet, but he also loves on them. Our puppy tore her ACL and Doc Y did an amazing job with her surgery. Dawn was fabulous about taking care of our baby the first night after surgery and Danielle sent pictures of our baby to ease some of our stress and anxiety Tori is always super kind and the guy at the front desk is super nice. So many of them helped us out with answering questions and making us feel cared for. Our baby girl is recovering and will hopefully be herself again soon. We highly recommend this vets office."
"So grateful they were open on Saturday!! Our cat had been sick for days. They got him in quick. The prices are so much more affordable!! Between visit, tests, and medicines, less than $500!! Thank you!! Hudson is already feeling better and acting more like himself. Thank you to the vet tech who was so kind, listened to me with compassion and helped make sure I knew what to do to administer his meds. Y'all ROCK and we will be back!!"
"Kinda disappointed to see this place has so many negative reviews. My experience with them was great. I went there cause my cat was getting worse and had a fear that she had a blockage making her unable to poop. An X-ray determined that she did in fact have a lot of stuff causing a blockage. I was heart broken cause I knew that surgery was going to be more than could afford. Me and my girlfriend figured out how to get the money to pay for her surgery. If we were able to pay for the surgery they were willing to do the surgery and keep my cat for a week until we were able to pay the remainder balance. If I was unable to pay for the surgery up front they wouldn’t have been able to pay for the surgery. I completely understand that and wouldn’t be mad at them if we had to put her down. They have a business to run. I’m sure they would rather see everyone’s pets go home healthy. But things aren’t free. Sometimes running a business you have to make hard decisions. I’m starting day three of our cats post surgery and she is doing extremely well. She’s moving around like nothing happened and is very happy to be back at home. I’m extremely thankful for the staff here and doctor y. They were all very pleasant to deal with. They said they would call me the following day after surgery to let me know if our cat would be able to go home. It was getting close to closing time and I didn’t get a call so I stopped by on my way home from work and they said they haven’t had time to check her yet. But they told me to take a seat and they would look at her real quick. They checked her and she was good to go home. This place gets extremely busy as the day goes on. Sure the communication part of this could have been better but keep in mind these people can only do so much. As for the comments on the smell inside, yes it does smell a little inside but a lot of these low cost clinks do. Not that big of a deal. If your concerned about that pick a different place and pay double for the same services. I took our cat to an urgent care vet and they wanted almost $400 just for xrays. Here I paid roughly $120. Again I am very thankful for all the staff here"
"Simply put, this hospital, it's staff, their surgeons, they saved my dogs life. They treated her like she was one of their own and provided the best possible care. I couldn't ask for more. I trusted them with my best friend and they really came through. If you need help for your animals, look no further."
"Doc Weirather is a wonderful vet. He is kind, caring and compassionate and does everything he can to make sure your pet is taken care of. As others have made comments on other reviews and sites, the place could use some fresh paint, etc. but It's an old building. I'd go see Doc Y at a dirty barn if it meant him caring for my animals. He's not a vet to get rich. He truly cares about animals and people and makes his prices affordable. He's also a wonderful surgeon and on most nights is at the clinic until way past dark caring for and seeing patients. If you saw how hard he worked and how exhausted he is on some nights, with still more patients to see, you would be truly touched. I will never forget the kindness shown by doc Y and his staff when my baby Bella needed help. They all showed up on their day off and they did everything they could to save her. Unfortunately she still passed away but I will be forever grateful for their effort. There are no words to express my gratitude. I feel truly blessed to have found this vet, especially being so close to my house and the fact that I have 8 dogs and 2 cats. I wish there were more humans like him. Also, he’s a wonderful role model. My daughter wants to be a vet and she deeply respects him and appreciates and notices his sacrifice and kindness."
