"I live in Bradenton and was visiting a friend for a few days. My regular pharmacy was out of my medication so I brought my prescription to this Publix. The other pharmacy canceled the prescription and I have the cancellation confirmation. I was told I would be able to get it from this Publix pharmacy but when I got there to pick it up they said they canceled it because I was shopping at multiple pharmacies. They said I was not allowed to go to multiple pharmacies to fill my prescription which I did not and I tried to show the confirmation of cancellation that she said she did not care I did not matter and they hold my prescription so now I can’t even get my prescription somewhere else, my problem is someone telling me that I can’t fill my prescription at a different pharmacy or shop around to find the best price. So now I am being treated like a drug addicted. I tied to ask what I need to do to get it figured out and she shrugged her shoulders. So now not only are they not giving my prescription but they are not giving me an answer to how to get my prescription when I have the cancellation confirmation right in front of them. So I am not happy and feel very much targeted just because of the prescription I get."

"Apparently Assistant manager, Jim Nowocin needs a refresher course in Publix policies and motto; customer service. I have never been spoken to by any manager in such a rude and humiliating way. Arguing and humiliating a regular customer is totally uncalled for, it's dispicable for any manger to do so. Occurred Saturday night. The Store manager needs to be spoken to by me before any further action. Department of Justice, ADA: A person with a Disability cannot be asked, (TOLD) to remove his service animal unless "the animal is OUT OF CONTROL".... Disability Act 1990. Violations of the ADA can be required to pay money damages and penalties."

"My family and I are struggling very badly. We have problems with our house and no money to feed our family. I was at checkout thinking I had just enough for very few items that I needed to stretch to eat for my whole family for over a week. I was $7 short and asked to get items removed off of my purchase when the cashier Lynn helped me with the remaining balance without telling me. I am forever grateful for her act of kindness! My family will never forget this! Thank you so much!"
