"A little messy, not really organized. Could use a good clean up. But still a good store for a dollar tree"
"The store itself has pretty great inventory, especially the greeting cards and holiday/special occasion items. The layout makes sense and I’ve never had trouble getting a cart to shop with. With all of that said, a cashier yesterday morning was unpleasant and out of line with her behavior. She opened a register to start a second checkout line. My elderly mom and I went over to her short line. She was not engaging with anyone during checkout, but that was fine. It was just something I noted that added to the overall experience. When it was our turn to checkout, she threw her arm out towards our items on the conveyer, knocking a few to the ground. Then, she went off about not piling things. I picked the items off of the ground and then attempted to help by reaching for a few stacked gift boxes. However, she instantly told me not to do that or not to touch anything, some verbiage along those lines. She continued on about how people get upset when their soap spills in the bag, but basically it’s their fault for the way they distribute items on the conveyer. If there was a better/different way that we could have laid out the items, then she could have expressed that in a decent manner. Getting angry and knocking a person’s items to the ground as they’re trying to pay for them and then also getting angry when they try to follow what you want is extremely rude and out of line. Our order total was $50, so it wasn’t little, but it wasn’t obscene either. She certainly killed the nice outing there for my mom and I. Hopefully she doesn’t do that to more customers, but that’s why I wanted to leave this review, in case management or corporate reads it."
"Good store. Kind of crowded with holiday merchandise. Great place for bargains."
"Dania is a horrible cashier! She was on her phone on speaker the entire time we were checking out (over 60 items). Dania should not be allowed to talk on the phone, should greet her customers, learn to speak English and to thank her customers when done. Store was fine, but not the cashier!"
"I had an awful experience. I was having fun shopping considering I don’t get out much and when I went to the register not once did the cashier “Brenda” say hello or anything she was too busy speaking to the man behind me. Talking about how she can’t wait to leave the store and work at the NEW Walmart. How she’s miserable with her job at the Dollar Tree. She seems very miserable and not a people person. To make matters worse she throws all my glass items in a bag like they are paper items and I was totally shocked. One of my candles happens to be chipped. When I called the store she said she only wraps dishware and I stated well they are glass items. She said, “ I don’t know what your problem is” and I told her I just wanted her to acknowledge this for the next customer as everyone is going through their own things in life. A simple hello and how are you goes a long way. The fact when I called and told her how I felt for her to say I don’t know what your problem is was completely rude and disrespectful! I will NEVER go to this dollar store again as I’ve never experienced this customer service in my life. I work with the public and say hello to everyone regardless. I don’t care if your the assistant manager or not I work hard for my money and for you to throw items in my bag and not care is not okay. Her response to it was simply just come back but the candles I got were the last two! Someone really should talk to her about customer service and people skills."
