"Ashley is such an amazing counselor and so easy to talk to. I currently do cognitive talk therapy & EMDR trauma therapy with her and both are highly effective. EMDR therapy with Ashley is so effective and freeing it’s almost a miracle how good it works! I had a very dark secret / trauma that I did not want anyone to ever know. I knew that I needed therapy for this trauma which meant I HAD to talk about it. Ashley was so empathetic and caring when it was time to relive the memory in EMDR therapy. She didn’t judge me, was gentle with me and soothing to me. I felt very safe telling Ashley my secretive trauma. At the end of the session I was so desensitized by my original horrible memory that I didn’t need anymore therapy about that memory. The emotions and traumatic feelings were gone! I was able to move on from the guilt and shame of that traumatic event & never really think of it again. Ashley makes it very easy to talk to her; I am an open book with Ashley. If ever I wanted to just talk instead of doing EMDR therapy Ashley always accommodated my needs, agreeing to talk to me. I always leave Ashley’s office feeling like I’ve accomplished something in my therapy that day & I always have added self confidence, which is something I normally struggle with. Ashley uses creative technics and is always willing to try a new approach to therapy. I am thankful that I have Ashley as a therapist & would recommend her to anyone!"
"The worst experience of my life and I have had many experiences with people, but you would think that when seeking out some type of therapy or”help” that you would at least get a little bit of professionalism, but this was the complete opposite. Ashley has made my life worse off than it was before I started seeing her in 2019 , going into 2020 when Covid started. We did plenty of zoom calls, but she would fall asleep on the phone, and even when I had went to her office, there were several occasions where I would be speaking to her and venting, and she would be snoring in the middle of our session . I let this go, and I still continued for another year to see her and have therapist client relationship, but then there was a point that she and my husband (now EX) would talk behind my back about me and she even showed up at my house ! which I found to be really bizarre and was upset with me when I told her that I would no longer be coming to her because she really caused a lot more harm and drama in my life then what was already going on. Then she proceeded to make it seem like she was going above, and beyond to be there to support me when I told her, and expressed to her not to come to my home. Then maliciously, she refused to answer any of my calls, and she also responded to me and called me “sick” and claims I threatened her. Lord after lies. I regret the day that I met Ashley and I would never recommend anyone to go see this woman. She is super Shystie and fraudulent. I’m trying to figure out how I can move forward with litigation because she went against HIPAA laws, and somehow she is clever enough to find the loopholes and cover herself . She is not a nice person and doesn’t deserve to hold her title and should have her license taken away."
"This was the worst experience ever. When I decided not to use her services any longer she threaten to call DCF and report me for spanking my daughter 4 years ago. I am shocked that she is still in business and she is not helping patients being unprofessional and unethical. I'm trying to figure out how many laws she actually broke before I move forward legally."
"Had a great experience. She is compassionate and punctual at my appointment. I’m sorry the individual did not have the best experience. I’m sure it was all a misunderstanding."
"Completely unprofessional on multiple levels. Showed up late my first and only appointment. Then clearly during our session was not qualified or educated whatsoever, even admitting she didn't know anything about my particular issue and would have to "look it up." The counseling sucked, but I understand it takes a few sessions before I could make a fair judgement if she was right for me and my situation. She then called me the day of our next appointment and cancelled on the same day. She was very pushy about rescheduling early Saturday morning despite me repeatedly telling her I had to be at work by 9. She says "great, we'll do 8-9, that works." I told her there was no way that would work because I had to be at work at 9 even though I had already explained that to her in the same conversation. This is a 1-hour session how is this going to work. Then she says "Well just come at 7:45 a.m. and I will get you out of here by 8:30" I was starting to feel like I was booking an appointment to get an oil change or something. Now she's talking about shaving 15 minutes off my counseling time. in all honesty I was not paying out-of-pocket for this - the EAP paid for it and she knew that so it seemed to me like she was just trying to milk the EAP money. She was extremely pushy and insistent about this time which I agreed to against my better judgement. Then I ended up working very late the night before and then ultimately woke up late the day of the appointment and I sent her a text message letting her know I was not going to make it. She had the nerve to text me back telling me how much she did not appreciate me giving her last minute cancellation ( even though that is exactly what she did to me ) and then she sends a text message saying how "We are not working together again" and she's going to "let the EAP know about this." She also put in the text message like she bent over backwards to do me a favor to get me in on this Saturday morning, when that is not the case at all I never wanted an appointment at 7:45 in the morning on a Saturday - I mean who does? She was the one being so pushy about that after she canceled out on me the day of our previously scheduled appointment so ultimately I caved and accommodated her request. Another thing that was very bizarre was the one and only session that I did have with her I never filled out any paperwork whatsoever. I've never been to any sort of counselor that didn't make you sign waivers or provide you with some sort of written overview of there services, etc. Ashley just really flew off the handle over something as simple as a canceled appointment when she did the exact same thing to me just before that and I didn't fly off the handle. Who's the one that needs mental counseling here? Apparently her because that's no way to react and treat people who are coming to you for help."
