"I took my Grandson for therapy and had a wonderful experience. I needed to see some one myself and was assigned to Mr Coulter. He is by far the rudest, most disprespectful person I have ever encountered. He interrupted me, Refused to listen to anything I said, he Refused to listen to my history, He treated me like I was a drug addict seeking to support a drug habit. I needed help with a diagnosis and he refused to even address it.I was near tears when I ended the session and walked out 12 minutes after walking into his office."
"Hi everyone. I'd like to state that this facility is beyond the 5 stars rated. The staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend this place to anybody that is struggling with life issues and mental health. I personally love the fact that they make you feel comfortable and natural in addressing any issues you may have. Discovery mental health have helped me a great deal and they continue to help me grow and make better decisions. I look forward to my sessions with the staff."
"As far as how pleasant Jessica is, I am incredibly disappointed as I am constantly left in the dark when my psychiatrist leaves. I have been struggling to stay consistent with my medication as my pharmacy would say it is on "back order" and tell me to contact my psychiatrist and now I've been without my medication for nearly four months... I am being charged for medication management sessions for medicine I am unable to even get. I am frustrated beyond belief and feel like I am seeking help and getting nothing. I wanted to stay hopeful but its quite hard when you're mentally going through it. Two weeks ago I switched psychiatrist after being told that Tasha isnt working there anymore and we even switched my pharmacy and still no medication!! I don't know what to do anymore. I may have to look somewhere else to get the help I need."
"My son saw a provider at this office for about 5 months for med management. I received notice that they suddenly needed a referral on file to see him. I spent the better part of the month trying to coordinate with his PCP to have a referral sent. As soon as the referral was figured out, I received a letter from Discovery that stated that they could now no longer take Medicaid insurance. The letter provided an end of service date of 3 days prior to me receiving the letter, leaving us with no provider as of immediately. My son is on a specific regimen of medications and was due for new scripts at the time the letter was received. They however gave no options to the effect of providing a 1-3 month refill to allow time to find another provider and additionally did not assist in suggesting other provider options. My teenage son depends on this medication to be able to adequately function at school and in everyday life and this office dropped him with no support. I was emailing with the owner, Jessica Kennedy to try to see what can be done, she offered to assist by giving him an appt at a private pay cost or to assist linking him to a provider, however when I responded she stopped responding all together. We have been in the mental health world for a long time, I also work to refer clients to MH providers, I have never experienced a MH providers office that was so lack luster about responsiveness or ensuring continuity of care for their patients. Needless to say, the practice is okay as long as they are getting paid, if they aren't, they could care less about your mental health. Additionally, you better hope that you don't have to call the place, because you'll never be able to reach someone. It seems to me that these people run an office when it is convenient and when it's not, they just pretend you don't exist."
"I started using the services provided here when nothing else would help. The staff was nothing other than accepting and kind. I have been going here for a year now and my medication is steady for the most part (sometimes the scheduled appointments for refills are out of line with when the medication actually runs out), and my therapist is easy to get along with and I love her! The only issues I think I've had are the medicine refills. The appointments, like I said, aren't always in line with when I will need my medication refilled. There is also times when the script would not go through to my pharmacy, but that is not an issue on Discovery's end. I would definitely recommend going here, the services are great and the staff is amazing."
