"Let me start off by mentioning Chris, owner of Bonsai Physical Therapy has a doctorate in PT, so he is a highly educated therapist. My injury is a shoulder impingement and Chris's depth of knowledge, treatments, therapy, and exercises are second to none, and more than comparable to any major healthcare network. I speak of this from experience after going last year for PT on my knee at a major healthcare provider. He is not only superior in PT, but his sessions are no less than 1 hour long compared to 30 minutes through a traditional network provider. This all played an important part in my decision to use Chris, because I had to go outside my insurance network. While it might be perceived as paying a premium, the depth of treatment far outweighs the nominally higher cost. As well, how do you put a premium on your health? What is favorable, is that my Flex Care Medical Debit card is accepted and the cost of treatment goes towards my deductible. Bonsai accepts traditional Medicare insurance, so by all means if you have this coverage, seek out Chris for an opinion. If not, consider the importance of staying within an insurance network for coverage, verses the high quality therapy Chris offers at Bonsai Physical Therapy. It really is an affordable option."

"Highly recommend Chris! There are many PT choices out there but this practice is different. He takes the time to fully explain the why behind all his recommendations. He doesn’t push services on you like many in his field. He gives recommendations & backs them up but doesn’t overwhelm you. He is super knowledgeable and once he fully evaluates you, provides a comprehensive list of suggested exercises along with manual PT done in his office. "This was probably my best Physical Therapy experience ever! Not your run of the mill place where your passed off between assistants before spending maybe 10 minutes with an actual therapist. Chris gives you one on one attention your entire visit. He helps you understand your problem and explains how the prescribed excercises will help correct the issue. He makes sure that your are doing the excercises with correct form and will even video tape you doing it on your phone for reference. In following weeks he makes you demonstrate how you perform the routine before adding on and building upon it. He was very thorough and I would say as much an educator as a healer.
