"Too many unprofessional interactions to list, on every level, from appointment scheduling to actual appointments happening, it became a running joke in our family of what the next excuse would be. I do understand they had a sudden death in their staff and I did sympathize, but it doesn't explain all the unprofessional experiences. These were "required" services for a serious, time sensitive situation. I would estimate nearly 1/2 the visit were rescheduled, nearly every visit was late and 1/4 never happened. It got to the point I would take the initiative to confirm the day before as to not waste my day planned around an appointment that kept not happening. They would confirm then cancel day of, then they dropped our insurance, apparently just hours before our appointment. I didn't complain because the initial time I complained about promptness and professionalism the therapist asked me at least 2 times during appointments "I know you had called and had a problem with something. What was that about?" I felt fine addressing it in person once because I don't have a problem being direct, but the second time she mentioned it as if she didn't remember why I had complained and wanted me to remind her again but felt more like a gaslighting like, "I haven't forgotten what you said about me." The behaviors never changed. The whole duration added stress during one of the most stressful times in my life. I did have to cancel appointments twice but did it well in advance and once found out I was trying to cancel an appointment that they forgot to schedule."
