"Yesterday my mom took me to her doctor appointment with her because they mentioned they suspected endometriosis. It ended with the doctor literally trying to walk out of her appt on her after getting frustrated with me. It is enough that my family and friends misunderstand this disease. I will not sit idly by and listen to any doctor wrongfully tell a woman that.. and I quote... "If a woman goes through menopause there is absolutely no way she can have endometriosis. Menopause will kill the endometriosis". Dr.James Jones can find a different patient to bully with his "board certification" that he so often kept mentioning while disagreeing with me and telling me it is absolutely impossible. I know many post-menopausal women that face very serious complications due this disease. It's hard to educate your family and friends on endometriosis when you have to educate the medical professionals also. Dr.Jones, I hope you CHOOSE to educate yourself further on endometriosis and the real-case stories happening to women.
